Spent a night there now in July and I was a bit disappointed. The room was very old fashioned and could do with refurbishing. The bathroom was excellent though. Just a small bottle of water in the room and with gas and no option of changing it for still water. The hotel is in the centre of Garmisch-Partenkirchen, but with...

We stayed at Atlas Post Hotel one night in May and we had our dinner in the restaurant. We ordered asparagus soup and wild garlic soup and both soups had nearly no taste of asparagus or wild garlic! And the soups was very thin and not creamy at all. For main courses we had weal with mushed potatos. There was...

The management needs to invest in room upkeep, first floor was better than 2nd or 3rd floor rooms. Needed a room change due to room displayed Soiled carpeting and after party damage. Light go out in hallways until entering hall. Views from 2nd floors up, rusty steels rooftops with junk and cigarette butts, appears people used rooftops as smoking areas,...

We visited the restaurant of this hotel on Good Friday for lunch. We were shown to the restaurant area behind the area that can be seen from the street. We ordered from the German Snacks part of the menu but was very unhappy with the slow service and packets of sauce. Especially considering the silver plates and candelabra on the...

We stayed in the apartment that was cheaper than other hotel rooms in the local area. We brought our German shepherd and the staff had no problem with him there. He was welcomed into the restaurant for breakfast and sat under our chair while we ate. The breakfast was delicious; they had eggs(boiled, scrambled, and sunside-up), sausage, bacon, pastries, toast,...

Our bathroom was very very small with a tiny shower - not at all the standard of a hotel at this price. The tap in the shower didn't work properly so it was impossible to adjust the water temperature - it was either cool or too hot. The toilet had a problem and a bad smell. At breakfast, there were...

we stayed in one of the appartments of Atlas post hotel, just behind the main building, on a quiet and peaceful Street...but still one step away from the center of the town...The apartment on the rooftop was big, clean and full of daylight. The architecture was typical mountain style and, newly decorated. They provide daily cleaning service .The charm of the Atlas...

We had booked 5 nights over Christmas for our family of 4. When we arrived we had been given an apartment which was TINY, way too small for all of us. Apparently there was an error with hotels.com which has now been fixed, it should not have allowed the booking for more than 2 people. Luckily the guy on reception...

A wonderful hotel in the center of Garmisch-perfect for operating from for all activities including shopping. GREAT food and service- no coffee makers in the rooms but their service, cleanliness and food make up for that! The desk clerk even delivered shampoo for my wife in a fancy coffee cup! They go out of their way to make your stay...

Compared to Hotel Bavaria where I stayed last night, this Atlas Posthotel is just really disappointing. If it wasn't because I couldn't cancel this booking I would have stayed in Hotel Bavaria for an extra night. To start with, the staff here are unfriendly, cold and the receptionist is pretty miserable. No apologies for the wait at the counter. Her...
