We stayed here only 1 night. Everything was perfect. Location was very close to both famous castles within walking distance. The room was large and nice with big and comfy bed and the bathroom was quite big also. The staff was very nice friendly and helpful. The breakfast was quite excellent and tasty. Great place to stay.

Excellent boutique hotel with underground parking. Located on the steps of the village starting point. The facilities are modern, room was large with a balcony, super sized bathroom/shower with dual sink. We had two rooms and one of them had an unobstructed view of the castle. Breakfast was amazing and they opened 30 minutes earlier to accommodate our busy morning schedule. Highly recommended property.

Absolutely delightful boutique hotel with amazing refurbished rooms. All amenities are at hand. Very friendly and helpful staff, special mention to Sabine at reception! Good breakfast buffet. Nice and warm parking garage which was needed with was needed with the snowy weather. Excellent location to the boarding school next door or to visit the castles and nearby Füssen. Would highly recommend!

Absolutely loved this place! So romantic and welcoming, friendly staff. Have dairy free milk and cafe latte was great! Room was so romantic and above our expectations. I took a bath that had a window overlooking the castle. We also had a balcony that looks straight out to the castle. This room on the top floor had the best views. Was snowing beforehand so everything was still covered in snow. The whole room was really large. We could even see the castle from the bed. The bed also has lights above it like stars, just like King Ludwig in Neuschwanstein Castle. Can’t wait to stay again when it’s warmer. Was only a short walk into town. We walked slowly up to the castle from the hotel stopping in souvenir shops, etc. so took us an hour to get to the castle. Make sure you get there early.

I stayed at this hotel for a weekend visit to Schlöss Neuschwanstein and had a wonderful time! From check-in to check-out, this property and its hosts provided a great base for exploring the local area. Rooms: - Spacious - Well-equpped; there was a kettle, TV, air-conditioner (neatly tucked behind a piece of artwork), table, chairs, bathrobes, slippers, and even bath salts in the bathroom. - Great views; I had a suite on the second floor with a view of the castle overlooking a lovely courtyard - Quiet with blackout blinds - Comfortable bed and linens Hotel: - Breakfast offerings were robust and hosted in a nice dining room. High quality teas on offer - Spa was wonderful, with both a steam room and sauna option. Wish I had had the time to utilize the massage services. The day I arrived was rainy and wet and so it was nice to relax inside before hiking to the castle the next day. - Snacks served throughout the afternoon - Only downside was that there were no dining options at the hotel for later day meals, so needed to organize a reservation at the limited local restaurants Service: Very attentive and thoughtful service. They arrange for me to have early check in which was much appreciated. Location: What can I say, very close to the bus stop and about as close as you can get to Neuschwanstein.

We were in the Komfort suite…very spacious with a king bed, living room, balcony and excellent AC! Nice bathroom too with separate toilet room. Hotel not that old so everything in great condition. Breakfast above average as it had bacon and many options beyond the usual German cold cuts/cheeses. Hotel is a 10 minute walk to the castle visitor center/buses. Parking in underground garage. Overall a very nice stay at a reasonable price. Highly recommend!

Over the last few years we have spent numerous nights in decent hotels and the experiences have been rather underwhelming, mostly due to the staff they employ who simply could not care less, increasingly this has led to us staying in AirBnB’s. Villa Ludwig however, is an example of just how good a hotel can be when done right. The view of Neuschwanstein castle was amazing, the room wonderful, clean, spacious and unique, also a first class breakfast but what made this hotel much better than others we have stayed in in many major cities was the staff moreover the amazing lady who worked in the reception. What a breath of fresh air to be treated so well by a very kind, interested and friendly person, a tremendous credit to this first class hotel. A massive thank you for a most enjoyable stay, we both enjoyed every minute and would have no hesitation in returning, first class in every way!

We cannot fault this Boutique Hotel. We had an amazing stay. Nothing to much trouble for the staff. Excellent breakfast. Mini bar and tea and coffee making in room. We sat on the front terrace drinking the excellent wine and beer on offer whilst admiring the castle view. We stayed in the Romantic Suite with a stunning view of the castle from the balcony and even from the bath.
