Our room was comfortable and clean. The location is very convenient, quite close to Marienplatz. The breakfasts were very tasty. The staff were able to give us good advice about the sites we wanted to visit and our transportation options. We really liked being able to buy beer or water in the evenings.

My husband and I just returned from a Germany trip, during which we spent our last 3 nights in room #1 at Pension am Jakobsplatz. We stayed in 5 different places and this was by far the most comfortable bed and pillows. The pension is located steps off of the pedestrian zone, and is soon to be on the pedestrian...

This is a great location if walking old town is your goal. Christoph is extremely helpful to ensure you will see what you came to see and have a good breakfast to keep you going until lunch. I almost thought this could be a timeshare, but no - just friendly helpful service - welcome to Munich!

This Pension was a wonderful place to lay your head while in Munich. Very central to all the attractions, food and very close to the Markt. The breakfast was good. The beds were comfy and rooms were not too small. Christoph made the booking very easy, he responded quickly and was very helpful. He even was able to book us...

My husband and I were recent guest at the Pension. Small room but not by European standards. It was sometimes a bit noisy but not usually at real late hours. The en-suite room was very clean and perfectly located for easy walking. The staff was terrific and very helpful. We would recommend the Pension to anyone and would definitely stay...

We were initially freaked out by the prospect of a shared toilet but don't worry, this is one of the cleanest places you will ever visit plus you still get your own shower. The breakfast is simple, mainly sourced locally from organic producers. It is very good indeed. The location could not be bettered and is close enough to run...

The Pension is perfectly located in the Munchen city centre with walking access to the old town attractions, the Englischer garden, the train station, restaurants, and neighborhoods where we found live music (with Christoph's help). We rented 3 of the 4 rooms and we were all happy with their size and comfort. The layout is a bit awkward, but having...

I spent a few nights at the Pension am Jakobsplatz with my wife on our honeymoon on the first weekend of Oktoberfest. This weekend had inflated prices all over Munich (as expected), but the location and price here seemed very reasonable. We are very happy we booked with Cristoph! We had a very late change of plans with our arrival,...

Take very seriously the part of your reservation that asks you to kindly notify them of your arrival. When you arrive it will feel and look like an office building when you walk in, which was a little off putting at first. The "front desk" is not staffed 24/7, so they are only here when you tell them you will...

Not bad for a city room. Clean, but cramped with an awkward layout. We were given the wrong room the first night and then asked to move for the second night, which meant packing up our stuff again. We had been on the move for several nights and we're looking forward to not packing. The people who were in the...
