the location is perfect for city exploration as the hotel is situated a few meters from Karlsplatz station providing vast transportation links in the city. If you get a room with a street view prepare for noise into the night since besides tram line on the street there is also lively bar which becomes especially active approaching weekend.

Weekend in Munich: Beer, football, and sausage the main agenda. The Stachus is clean, reasonably priced, and very central. Excellent staff and very good breakfast It is noisy (Trams right outside my bedroom window) but I bought earplugs and that problem was solved Would not hesitate to return

Very convenient location to Historical centre. A bit pricy. Staff are friendly and accommodating. generally quite clean and decent place to stay. Would highly recommend during the low season, but during oktoberfest its quite a distant to walk when you are drunk, you will need to take the subway.

LOUD, CHEAP yet OUTRAGEOUSLY EXPENSIVE! The hotel is on a very busy and loud main thoroughfare in Munich. With no A/C you absolutely MUST open the window. Goodbye sleep or privacy. Combine that with visibly cheap amenities, the cost of this place is absolutely not worth it. The bed was lumpy and loud, the carpet dingy and cheap, and the...

Great location near Marienplatz and Hauptbahnhof. Average room. The mattress was old and worn and felt more like a hammock. The pillows weren't great either. No air conditioning and a very noisy street isn't a good combination. At time of booking asked for a room on a high floor and got one on the first floor! You have to pay...

We stayed here during Oktoberfest where all hotels prices were inflated so I can't say it was great value for money, but given the circumstances I have no complaints about at all. Spacious double room with a very clean, new bathroom. The best part is the location, right opposite the central station and only a 3 min walk to Karlsplatz...

This hotel has no air conditioning which in summer leaves you with no option but to open the double glazed window . Unfortunately being located above a noisy street with a bar that operates until late at night makes sleep impossible . There are rooms away from the street but despite requesting a quiet room I was not given one....

Location is ideal, close to shops & main train station which are within 5 mins. A comfortable bed & clean room. Breakfast was very good & large variety. Some staff could have been more friendly, no mini bar or refrigerator but not a big issue. Charged WiFi per day/per device in this era is unfair. Has no A/C in room...

We booked this as married couple with adult son. The single bed for him was a portable single bed which did the job for 4 nights but could have been bigger. Clean good size room. No tea/coffee making facility or fridge. Some of the staff could have been more welcoming and friendly. Only one wss what I would say was...

Really a good price and very close to downtown and subway. The facility are clean, the management team is professional. Problem: Stachus is full of non-germanic people. The hotel has no parking, please leave the car out of downtown.
