A fifteen minute walk flat from train station straight from the airport so, no need for a taxi, the room was comfortable spotlessly clean and pleasant view. Breakfast was excellent with good variety of cooked and buffet food. Staff were very good in the main with one notable exception on reception. Can thoroughly recommend.

The hotel location was 1 stop from the Munich hbf and really easy to find. A very good breakfast was included in the price. Reception staff were really helpful. Only real issue was that internet was only free if used in reception area, otherwise euro 3.5 per 24 hrs from room. Bathroom was nice, marble walls with granite bench tops....

Very low key hotel with friendly and efficient staff. Clean, modern rooms. Nice bar and the breakfast, although not extensive, hit the spot. Just about walkable to Oktoberfest (ie in about 30 mins) but taxi service in Munich is very good.

The Hotel Erzgiesserei is a good choice to stay in Munich. It is close to the city's core in a quiet residential neighborhood and easily reachable by subway or tram from Munich's main railway station; after a very short ride, it is an 8-minute walk from the nearby stops to the hotel. Our room on the top floor provided access...

Our stay was arranged by friends who live and have their offices close by. It seemed like a great live-work area. Spent 2 nights. The room was up-to-date and modern but not austere. The bathroom was terrific. The staff was wonderful. And the breakfast was the best of any hotel anywhere we have stayed. So we rate it Excellent+.

First time in this hotel, because I needed an accommodation very quick. Now it´s definitely on my list for further visits in Munich. Very good bed, nice staff, good price. Highly recommendable. Train Station in Walking distance.

Good hotel with spacious and bright rooms. I've got a corner room with huge windows, even in bathroom :) Location is quite far from city center, however taxi service is quite good in Munich. Internet is not free of charge and even somehow expensive and I find that a little bit strange nowadays in the center of Europe.

Booked this hotel in Munich with great expectations...however let down. There is no WiFi throughout the hotel unless you want pay over the odds on day rates. The beds in my opinion were far too soft and the rooms were very warm...maybe I'm being picky but for an expected 4 star I expected more. Only positive is staff were friendly...

Very good hotel. Food ok, rooms very comfortable! The only minus is a paid internet but it is very fast. The hotel is located 10 minutes from downtown. Near there are shops where you can buy food.Recommended
