Very lovely family owned hotel with personal service in the heart of the city, great atmosphere, simple and quiet rooms, breakfast served by a very nice man from Bohemia trying to fullfill every wish. One of the few places where you can feel at ease and at home. Actors love this place.

A small hotel that is well run, in a very convenient location in Munich. Art/ Literature oriented with occasional events in that direction. The owner is on site almost every day and will deal with grievances- if any. Great breakfast too! Don't miss out on thisi one.

Returned to this lovely, small hotel for our tenth visit. Always a treat to stay here. Rooms are spotless, staff friendly and helpful, breakfast room and breakfast are glorious. And, the location can't be beat -- right on the hip and vibrant Hans-Sachs Strasse and within walking distance of the Marienplatz.

Stayed here for 3 nights, rooms are fairly big, simply decorated but lovely and clean. The hotel itself is in a great location and easy walking access to Residenz etc. There is a good selection of bars, restaurants and cafes around the area too. Wifi is provided along with a nice continental breakfast. Would definitely recommend.

We arrived early, but the warm receptionist was happy to let us put our bags in one of our two rooms so that we could begin to discover the city. All of the staff were very friendly. The location was excellent for us: easy walking distance to center of old Munich as well as to the tram and underground. Our...

The hotel is well situated. Lots of things to do in walking distance in a range of 1.5km. The hotel itself is nice. Breakfast is good. The rooms are cosy and very clean. Instead of the normal art (bavarian landscapes haha) on the wall, this hotel had quite a taste for what they put on display. We (as family) were...

Recently stayed here for Oktoberfest and Hotel Olympic was perfect and within walking distance of Oktoberfest, the Vik Market and Marianplatz. Staff was delightful and the daily breakfast was wonderful. This place looks much much better in person than the photos too. Rooms were a nice size and bathrooms adequate (but small by American standards) Take other reviewers advice to...

Hotel Olympic is a wonderful Hotel with an individual, private style - no member of chain of one of the large hotel groups. It is located in the beautiful "Glockenbachviertel". Very central with a lot of interessting restaurants and bars around. The staff is friendly. The rooms are not spacious but large enough, clean and individually styled. On every bedside...

I stayed at the Olympic Hotel with my family for a week in August. The rooms are smallish, but clean and have an individual touch (I wasn't crazy about the art, but that's just my personal opinion). Ask for a room facing the back, since Hans-Sachs-Strasse can be noisy at night. There is no airconditioning. The service is very friendly...

This hotel has elegant public rooms and comfortable bedrooms. There are some quirky touches, especially the modern art. It is in an excellent location, within walking distance of the city centre and near tram and U Bahn stops. There are a number of cafes, bars and restaurants in the immediate area. The front desk staff speak excellent English and were friendly...
