Situated in the upscale Lehel District of Munich withing walking distance of Marienplatz, or the heart of downtown, this small hotel has a certain old world charm. It clearly has seen better days. The Lehel U-Bahn (Underground) station is close by enhancing connectivity with the rest of Munich and beyond using S-Bahn. Maintenance could be better though. The single room... More

I stayed at the Hotel Domus for a conference for 3 nights. It's location was perfect - an easy walk down into the Marienplatz area, and a charming street with lovely local shops and a small church. Very convenient in terms of access to the U-bahn. The hotel itself was slightly dated but clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very adequate,... More

This is a basic hotel with outdated decor and little in the way of comfort. It was not cleaned well during our stay and is poorly maintained ie a light was not working. There are no amenities at all provided in the bathroom so you need to bring everything. The tiny bathroom had, however, been recently refurbished. Also no tea/coffee... More

We stayed one night in Munich at Hotel Domus. The front desk staff was very nice and went out of their way to accommodate us, even going as far as getting us a room at 9am upon our arrival! That said, the hotel felt very dated. And there is no air conditioning. Sleeping with the windows open is almost impossible... More

My husband and I stayed there for the weekend. It is a great hotel in a great location. The bathroom is brand new, and the rest of the bedroom is of good standard, a bit oldish style perhaps. It is very quiet, even if we were sleeping street side. The breakfast is good and has a wide choice of foods.... More

I stayed at this hotel for two nights. The location is fantastic, just a four or five minute walk to the U-bahn station and near the tourist center of town. The neighborhood was well kept and incredibly quiet at night. There are also a couple of small hotels just near the U-bahn station. Breakfast, while not included in my room... More

I regularly stayed at the Domus when I was in Munich on business on a monthly basis around 5 years ago, and revisited in November 2013. The hotel hasn't changed over the years, and either you enjoy low-key places with a lack of ostentation that provide the service advertised, or you don't. The hotel is clean, the rooms comfortable and... More

A combined trip for business with the Oktoberfest. Hotel well located for both the office and beer festival. Quiet residential area. Surprised to see other reviews raving about the breakfast being good, thought it very average myself. Double bed which was nice, small bathroom, was on 5th floor and had a balcony. Woken up early on Saturday and Sunday mornings... More

We always pend our first night in Munich at the Domus. Quiet side street with parking on street for 6 euros or in garage for ten. Small room but this is the city. Location an easy walk to the Residence and Opera. One block to subway. Excellent breakfast in a pretty garden room.
