This hotel is in a good location within easy walking distance of the main attractions and central station for walking tours. The staff are friendly and speak good English. The room was small but clean and perfectly adequate for a city break. I paid 227 euros for a twin room for three nights which I thought represented very good value...

Agree with previous reviews really. Location very good - between main station and historic centre, both just a few minutes walk away. Set down a side street, it misses the hustle and bustle and we weren't bothered by any late night noise. Room was very clean and comfortable and suited our needs. It was a little small but I guess...

Hotel Eder was our first stop in Germany and we are so glad we chose this hotel. We had mapped out the hotels close to the train station and from the pictures we saw online it appeared to be clean and neat. The price was also reasonable. It is about 2 1/2 blocks from the train station and also from...

Recently returned from Germany/Austria....We stayed at the Hotel Eder for 2 days. Breakfast- wonderful! Size of room was great, bathroom great....be aware if you aren't very mobile, that there is not elevator (lift). We were on the top floor (4 floors!) and we counted...86 stairs that we climbed at least twice per day! The hotel is within a 5-8 minute...

We chose The Eder for several reasons - it's a small family-run more traditional Bavarian hotel as opposed to the modern chain hotels you get in every city. Also, it was near the Railway Station (so easy to get to) and also 5-10 mins walk to Karlsplatz and Marianplatz for restaurants, sightseeing, shopping etc. And the reviews on Tripadvisor described...

I stayed for 4 nights during a very crowdy time in Munich. It is simple and comfortable, has an excellent location, very close to Hauptbahnhof, very close to Karlplatz, very clean, frendly personnel, excellent breakfast. The bathroom was a little small, but considering the fair price it was a very nice package.

This is a small mom & pop hotel locate about 2 blocks from the central train station in Munich. It is off the main street (Bayerstrassa) so it is quiet. All the inter city, suburban, and urban trains come into this station as well as a lot of the buses and trams so it is easy to get from here...

We were only in Munich for two days and walked around the city a lot, coming back only to crash at night. The hotel Eder worked very well for such an agenda. It is a very nice, simple hotel, that is an easy walk to the train station. It is only about 10-15 minutes, by foot, to the city center...

Great location, very good staff and breakfast, good cleanliness and value, no extras... Nice clean hotel with very helpful staff and a nice breakfast with a location that makes it easy to get around. Wifi worked well. Nice garden area. Our room was small and simply furnished .. A desk, a wardrobe, two beds and a chair. The shower worked...

I've stayed at the Eder a few times over the years now, the Eder is a family hotel, not a chain, so you can be safe in the knowledge that the hotel is run with an amazing level of pride. The hotel is perfectly located being just a two minute walk from Karlsplatz where you can catch the S-Bahn Trains...
