We were looking for a hotel within walking distance from the train and old town. This Hotel fit the bill. Priced great. Front Desk folks were very helpful and spoke great English. They were able to hold onto our luggage while we explored Munich. The room was nice, clean and quiet. Breakfast was nice as well.

The hotel has a very good location, less than 10 minutes walking from Marienplatz. The staff is very friendly and willing to help for any request. The hotel areas and rooms are clean. The only negative thing i could mentioned, is that the hotel is under renovation (on the outside) and it was a bit noisy after 10 the morning.

If you are looking for a hotel that's not very expensive and is in walking distance from the old part of town and Glockenbachquartier Hotel Isartor is an excellent choice. The room I had was quiet and not too small, very clean, the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast in a nice breakfast room was compared to breakfasts in other...

Minimalist-style hotel, built sometime in the seventies. Position ,of course ,is great ,and Wifi -fast ,but there are some unpleasant inconveniences :1) pillows are whimsical bags, absolutely uncomfortable, 2) room was cold ,and battery unefficient ,3) breakfast -just collection of cold cuts ,no fruits,no sweets ... I don't think I would stay at this hotel again...

Stayed over for 2 nights with friends. Great location 5 mins from train station. Easy access for the main square, bars and restaurants . Clean no frills hotel with breakfast included. Basic rooms, fresh clean and tidy. Would definitely recommend and visit again

For the price, it's good value for money, but not the most comfortable place we have stayed in in Munich. A convenient location for visiting the city centre. Our room however was very warm as we were unable to have the windows open at night because of the traffic noise, especially from the trams. Breakfast was plentiful, though it was...

Not attractive from the outside but clean and comfortable inside and conveniently situated for the Marienplatz etc. The staff were all friendly and helpful, breakfast was very good but we needed air-conditioning as it was very hot and we could not leave the windows open due to traffic noise.

Hotel in good position (Isartor station is very near, from the Airoport straight from S8), Breakfast was good and plenty. Staff extremely helpful and kind. Rooms maybe need a bit of upgrade. Pillows are too thin. Was quite hot in Munich when we visited and air conditioning would be good, but I understand is not very often so hot.

My room had two twin beds pushed together to form a queen size bed, albeit with a seam down the middle. The room is reasonable for the price, but this is not a luxury hotel. Thankfully it was rather cool during our visit as there is no aircon. When the window is open, the sound of streetcars and car horns...

The Hotel Isartor is a solid choice for visitors to Munich. It was mere minutes' walk from Marienplatz and the old city, yet reasonably prices and will all necessary amenities. Our tour group booked here and we stayed three nights. We could get to the old city and the Hofbrauhaus in 10 minutes or less - even me, the slow...
