Our room was very clean & comfortable, the location of the hotel was great (in a quiet area near Marienplatz), parking is available in a nearby garage, their breakfast was plentiful & excellent and the hotel staff was very friendly & professional!...

The Hotel Must have had a Great Time some years ago. I stayed in a room with two extra beds , which had some Lederhosen Style, or Bavarian, but the Bathroom was only 2,5 sq.m. ,and probably 20 years Old and outdated. The breakfast was served at the table , ok.

We stayed here for 4 nights during a holiday in Munich. The hotel was comfortable and reasonably priced. Our room was pleasant and had a small glazed conservatory overlooking the courtyard. The en-suite bathroom was well equipped but very small. (I imagine it would have proved troublesome for people with a large girth). We had an inclusive breakfast which was...

Located on a quaint and quiet side street, The Hotel Opera is nevertheless within reasonably close walking distance of just about anything most tourists would want to see in Munich, and the tram stop is just several hundred feet from the front door. This is a small hotel, so the entryway is unpretentious; but the service is excellent and the...

The Hotel Opera is typical of most good independent hotels in that it is a mix of the flawed and the delightful. On the plus side, it is in a great location not far from the centre, but still managing to be secluded. The surrounding cafes and restaurants are full of the 'beautiful people' lucky enough to live in this...

Munich hotels are not cheap, and the Opera is in a good location for the Altstadt, so a bit pricey. Staff were excellent and the hotel shows all the faded elegance expected. Some things are actually a bit tatty - threadbare carpets in some spots, wall paper pealing etc. Not what one expects for €200/night. We enjoyed our stay -...
