Stayed 4 nights here in the 40 beds dorm. For me, it wasn't that bad experience, but you need to be prepared that facilities are pretty bad at least in the 40 beds dorm. Location was great thou. I would say that it was one of the worst hostels/accommodations where I have spent my nights around the world. Showers are...

I stayed in the 40-bed dorm, so my review is more directed to those thinking of going that route. I only slept in the 40-bed dorm for one night, thank goodness, because while I wouldn't necessarily recommend it, it wasn't as bad as it could have been. When you're staying in a room with 40 beds, it becomes more of...

The hostel itself was great as it was great for accommodating 5 boys. However, the area around the hostel is poor.. You really have to walk to get to the Bavarian culture as the area surrounding "Jaeger's" contains a lot of shisha bars and kebab shops, not really what we were after. Given that; it was still walking distance from...

I stayed at this hostel for just one night but in those 2 days met more people than I could have imagined. The communal area in the hostel near reception is an amazing way to meet people. The staff are very friendly and one of the things I liked the most at the hostel was the fact that there were...

Positives: Easy to find, just across from the main train station. Head no noise from room on the top floor, cheap beers at the bar, wi-fi was accessible in room, young atmosphere, quick check-out, air con in the room was powerful, competitive price for July. I very much liked the signs all over the building about being quiet and respectful...

Munich is a pricey place and so are the hostels. But it was worth the cost. Nice hostel near central train station with courteous and helpful staff. Only thing I thought missing was a self serving kitchen.

I stayed in the 40 person room, it wasn't so bad as it's divided into 4. Only bad thing is that the bar is very noisy and you can hear everything. Bathroom was terrible. Doors didn't lock properly. There was CONSTANTLY a few cm of water in the whole bathroomr... If just didn't drain. It was so mouldy. And you...

The location is perfect. We had a late flight and ease of access was important. It was extremely easy to access by S-bahn. Room fine for the price - we had a family room with bath (4 persons) Good value basic breakfast for five euros. You can rent a lock for one euro a day for a locker in the...

Stayed here for 2 nights in the 40 person dorm. Thought there would be more toilets for the amount of people and definitely showers with a lock and not just a curtain. The staff ranged from being very helpful and not so much. We arranged to have post delivered there and one member of staff refused to even look for...

Didn't really have an issue with the hostel, we stayed in our own room and it was great, and the price was reasonable, however the bar was downstairs and was not very entertaining at all. We often went next door to the youth hostel for the bar there. Next time I would either stay there or at wombats on the...
