We stayed in Munich for three days a few days prior to Oktoberfest so hotel choices closer to the city center were already limited. However, the hotel is very close to the Ostbahnhof train station and there is a bus pickup directly in front of the hotel. The hotel is very modern and clean. Don't make the mistake of leaving...

Motel One is close to a good train station which is Ostbahnhof, with the walk being about five minutes in a straight line. The hotel itself is clean, modern, yet lacking in space and amenities. You won't find a phone nor a kettle in the small bedroom, yet the bathroom is really rather nice, with a large, new shower and...

Visitng Munich for a conference, I stayed at Motel One Munich Ost for 3 nights. The hotel lobby is very inviting, with modern decor. I found all the desk staff very friendly and courteous. There we no problems with communication as they all spoke English. My single room with a queen size bed was as pictured on their website: in...

First impressions were justly favourable. The hotel is modern and the room was nice. I was concerned about the location, but actually it is fine as the train station is just down the road with frequent links to the rest of the city via the Sbahn. I think it’s a bit outmoded that the internet wasn’t free (though it is...

My friend and I stayed at this hotel for Oktoberfest and although we found it to be reasonably priced and nice looking (and walking distance from the Bahn station), my friend and I ended up coming home with bed bug bites! That's right BED BUGS! After our second night, my friend saw the little critters and killed one. Sure enough,...

I based myself at the Motel One to attend the Oktoberfest and found it acceptable for the purpose. The hotel is similar in style to a Holiday Inn Express in the UK. The breakfast is buffet style with the usual continental selection of meats and cheeses as well as pastry products. The only quibble over breakfast was the lack of...

The website of the hotel is quite deceptive. You think it's some stylish boutique hotel but that is not the case. It's rather a dressed up, expensive hostel. The only positive is the bathroom, which is nice, but the rest is extremely minimalistic. The room has no phone, no desk, no decent chair, no safe!, no dresser, no closet, internet...
