Very nice cozy hotel. The staff were welcoming and attentive. Within short walking distance to the Albrecht Duerer Museum, the historic castle & market square. Serves breakfast only. Affiliated restaurant a 2 min walk. I will stay here again on my next visit.

This hotel is just lovely. My husband and I stayed here for 6 days. The service is impeccable and the staff was so kind. The decor is classic and historical. We loved our stay here. The breakfast was traditional German and the staff was very attentive. The location is perfect. You can walk everywhere in Nuremberg. It's just a few... More

Nice historical hotel in the center of the old town. Close to all the main monuments, squares and the castle. Highly recommended if you want to visit the Christmas Market. Good quality for the right price.

A beautifully historically section with a great view of the castle. Close to local beers leading up to the castle. They were obliging when we had to park our hire car. Offered cheaper parking at the local secure car garage. A really nice breakfast and everyone was pleasant. The only thing was the laundry service was very expensive. Instead of... More

The staff of the Burghotel impressed from before we even checked in. 3 friends and I had a booking in the hotel for a few days in Nurnberg after the Rock Im Park festival; the staff allowed us to store some possessions and passports that we didn't want to risk at the festival despite the fact that we were due... The hotel is in a great location in downtown Nurnberg. We had 2 young children with us and all the restaurants and sights were within an easy walking distance for everyone. The hotel is very old and a bit outdated in the rooms, but it is comfortable and has everything we needed. The staff was very friendly and helpful.

Stayed for a couple of nights with family. Hotel is in old part of the city and building appears to date back some time. Our room was spacious and clean. Breakfasts are excellent and buffet offers wide choice. Swimming pool area has gym equipment alongside. Pool is small and of constant depth - too deep for non swimming children but... More

We had a great time staying at this hotel situated in a quiet zone but near many cafes, restaurants and the Nuremberg Castle, Hauptmarkt Platz, St Lorenz and many shops. Very clean, good shower and friendly staff.

My best friend and I decided to book a holiday in Nuremberg to celebrate our 60th birthdays because we had worked there for the summer holidays when we were students 40 years ago! Of course, many things had changed in the city since then but we enjoyed revisiting our old haunts and lodgings. The Burg hotel was a convenient place... More
