The Hotel Passauer Wolf in Passau, Germany is a lovely hotel with spectacular views of the Danou (Danube) River from one side. We were fortunate enough to have a room that overlooked the river and my husband enjoyed watching the coming and going of the river traffic. Our view also included the castle/fortress across the river. We were in an... More

We booked as the starting point for a cycle trip 6 euro taxi ride from the station. Receptionist was very friendly and had great English despite being from Transylvania! Hotel is situated in old ton which is cobbled and v pretty. See photo of enormous cathedral. Free welcome drink was a bonus. Buffet breakfast was great too

We spent two nights in a room with a view of the Danube. The room was big, and well appointed. Breakfast was excellent. The location is great. The wifi did not work in our room and we asked repeatedly if it could be better. It worked well in the breakfast room and bar. We asked for a shuttle to the... More

The hotel is located in the hotel zone across from the boat moorings and the view of the river is excellent. The rooms are of a good size and clean. The top floor has a veranda and watching a sunset on it, taking in the views of the old town and the river is one of the most relaxing ways... More

This charming hotel is located right on the Donau (Danube) river front. The hotel faces the St. Paul Kirche and Rindermarkt on the land side. It is near everything and in easy walking distance to the historic sites, shopping and restaurants in the Altstadt. You can stroll up and down the Untere Donaulande Strasse examining the cruise ships while trying... More

Upon checking into the hotel, we were greeted with a very nice offer for a free welcome drink. We promptly took up on the offer and enjoyed our beer in the roof top terrace area overlooking the river. Our room is super spacious, about the size of 2 or 3 normal hotel room, with the view of the river. The... More

The hotel staff was very friendly and accommodating. Our room was on the top floor looking out on the river. The room was spacious - had 2 beds and a pull out couch. The hotel also had a rooftop patio that we didn't use as it was raining that evening. The hotel is very close to a pedestrian street with... More

Well located this is a very good option if staying in Passau. Located right on the river it is very easy to locate if driving. Parking was literally right there. The back side fronts a pretty street in the alstadt. Our room was large and comfortable. Although we did not have a river front room we faced the street on... More

Stayed here one night before river trip. Very comfortable hotel with good breakfast. Some stairs before you reach elevator may be an issue. Good for visiting city highlights as you can walk to everything from here.

I stayed at Passauer Wolf for 1 night, as part of a sort visit in Passau. The hotel is located very close to the town hall, in the old part of the city, less than 15' on foot from the train station. I booked a double room for single occupancy and I got a big room with a couch and... More
