Clean tidy basic room just far too hot with no aircon or fan which made for a very uncomfortable night. Just when you needed a cold drink from the mini bar only to reach in a find out the frige was a hot box too with no cold refreshing drinks!

We took a wrong turning and because of road works, it was a dead end. Hotel Am Ring was right there so we thought we'd stop for a drink as they had a Bier Garten! Was greeted by a lovely receptionist who showed us the garden and ordered our drinks. We loved it in the sunshine and the beer and... More

I absolutely agree with the John R's review. A really old fashioned hotel - the rooms need overhaul. The carpark round back is very small. The staff is not friendly and WiWF was not good - so difficult to have access to the Internet.

Great location just outside the city wall and across the street from the train station. Location to park onsite and easy to find. The Mammels are very friendly as was the restaurant staff. Rooms are fairly large (for Europe) and clean. My room faced the street which had some traffic noise, however closing the windows blocked most of the sound.... More

Dreadful old "station" hotel. Rooms are basic, tired and need a refurb. Carpark round back is tiny. We had very poor meal in restaurant, they agree and only charged for one meal. WiFi not very good. Lift out of order and no offer to help us to second floor with baggage despite our seniority. Dont go.

We would normally stay right in the old town centre but the places there were full. So we were not excited to be directed by the Tourist Information to this modern hotel on the little ring road. But actually we were surprised. The romms were quite large (and perhaps too warm), breakfast excellent and the family owners were very friendly.... More

Well located a short walk from the town centre, this hotel was very clean and tidy, but that is so typical of Germany! Comfy beds, quiet warm room and breakfast was very good. Plenty of parking space also.

I stayed at this place for two months for business. The room was old and smelly. The wall was so thin that you could listen to noises coming from all four directions (i.e. rooms upstair, downstair, left & right). The curtain couldn't closed properly that I had to use my hair clips to 'close' it, in order to avoid people... More

We stayed one night in Nordlingen for my husband's brother's wedding at the church located next to the hotel. We did not get to spend much time exploring the city, but what we did see made us wish we had had more time to explore. The hotel was very neat and clean, and the breakfast provided was quite tasty. The... More
