My wife and I loved Rothenburg and our stay at Hotel Gotisches Haus set the stage. Quaint and very nicely appointed. We loved the breakfast cafe area - the variety of choices was great and the hostess that served the coffee and eggs was very friendly and added to the experience. The ambiance of the cafe area was neat as...

This hotel is almost in the center of historic Rothenburg and a perfect place to stay. The rooms are modern and the facilities are fine. The hotel has a small elevator so getting bags to and from the room is not a problem. They have a small sidewalk café so you can enjoy a drink and people watch. The breakfast...

We spent 3 nights mid September in room 11. We enjoyed our stay here more than any other lodging during our 2 week trip through Tyrol and Bavaria. It was raining when we arrived and our navigation had led us to closed streets blocks away. We found a place to park and made our way to Hotel Gotisches Haus with...

We stayed at Hotel Gotisches Hause in mid-September at the beginning of our vacation. It was just great. The hotel is old but in excellent condition and does have an elevator to get to the rooms. The bathroom was large and modern and the wooden walls and floor were a great touch for the main room.. Even though our room...

Enjoyed the details of the odd shaped room. The large tub was relaxing after long walks exploring the towns. Breakfast was delicious. Especially enjoyed the bread and Latte Macchiato to go! the medieval style interior is breathtaking.Very charming feel to it. The location is just down from the town square and famous Christmas museum. I will be staying here next...

I cannot begin to say how wonderful this hotel is. My husband and I have been coming to Rothenburg for 13 years and always take friends and relatives to this town when they visit. From now on, I will only stay at this hotel. It is fantastic! The rooms are just beautiful. They feel both historic and modern at the...

Checkin and check out was flawless and the man running the desk was very kind and informative. Parking is a bit of a walk if you can't find a space out front and driving on the very narrow roads is a nightmare, but this is not the hotel's problem. Stayed on the top floor (only one very large room for...

Before he became Holy Roman Emperor, Maximilian I stayed at this place in the year 1474. Things don’t get any older than this. The hotel oozes mediaeval character. It is situated on the most important road in the fairy tale town, right in the centre with its superbly preserved and restored buildings, although our GPS had difficulty in locating it....

Oh wow what a treat. This is the most beautiful hotel I have ever stayed in. I felt like a princess in my own castle, eating my breakfast in the library. Considering the age of the building so clean and comfortable.
