We had a great experience resting here after spending all day in the city. Not too far from public transportation, has own parking space, and the building is very quiet. Great for families with kids or for those wanting the privacy and space of an apartment rather than a hotel room. Thumbs up!

The tourist information desk at Schipol provided us great info on how to reach the hotel. With my offline google map I had little problem reaching the location (by train and tram) even with big heavy bags and a 3 &1/2 year old kid. The tram dropped us just 2 mins walk from our apartment. Its a decent quiet neighborhood... More

We had a 5 night stay during which we did buy a public transport pass so we're able to get about really easy for those two days and explored further a field. We liked the location of the apartment, as it was quiet and residential area, with some nice restaurants and supermarket for General supplies. We did particularly ask for... More

It all depends what you want, this is undoubtedly a little way out of the main city centre, but as you will see in other reviews public transport is almost at your doorstep and/or you can quite easily do what we did walk...the apartment block we stayed at in Elisabethkirchstrasse was just a mere 5min walk to the Berlin Wall... Stayed for 3 days in this apartment and it was trekked up to the 3rd floor. The apartment has no lift so warm those muscles up if you book here. There are 2 stations near the hotel - the subway (U) and nordbahnhof (S). If you have a germain rail pass that covers your entire stay , you can use... More

Stayed for a weekend in March 2015. Spacious, basic but clean and quiet. Staff were friendly and non intrusive. Supermarkets over the road to obtain all your necessary items. Was a short walk into the centre of Berlin (15-20 mins) and tram stops not too far away. Others on this weekend away stayed in hotels with tiny rooms but in... More

My husband and I recently stayed in an B apartment in Elisabthkrchstr (2nd floor). The apartment was perfect for our week stay in Berlin. We had everything we needed in the apartment and we were able to walk to everything. It's about a 30min walk into the town center, Museum Island and other main attractions. Lots of nice places to... Excellent accommodations! Very quiet neighborhood. Lots of coffees, public parks and supermarkets nearby. Just 2 minutes walking from one of the remaining original Wall sites (near Nordbahnhof station/Bernauer Strasse/).

Was at the Chorinerstrasse apartment for two nights and wished we could have stayed longer. This is a nicely decorated, very clean apartment, and within reasonable walking distance from metros. Free parking was a bonus. The agency staff were prompt, courteous, and all spoke English. Highly recommend this apartment and company.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
