This property is very close to a UBan station which can get you anywhere in Berlin quickly. Very experienced staff with no Language issues (English). Incredible Breakfast Bar. Two internet stations in the lobby but they time out quickly and everything you have on the screen anyone can see. One big minus the stairwell I used didn't allow you to...

Not located in the heart of the city but from a corner to the subway. You only have to take 1 line to get there. Internet is not included nor is breakfast. Clean and quiet, AC works good. Staff is helpful and nice.

The hotel itself is good. Typical room, perfect shower. The breakfast was not included into my booking, the price for it is 12 eur. Better to go out and have a perfect breakfast in one of the numerous restaurants in the area for only 4-6 eur. Wi-Fi is very expensive, from 11.99 eur per day. In the lobby there are...

I'm with Linda M on this one. The design is poor to say the least. Would you like your shower to be facing your bed with no room door in between? Step out of the shower with no privacy at all into the bed area is not what I consider a comfortable hotel. The bathroom is in a separate dark...

Ours was a "standard" room. Third floor, facing the street. Little street noise (double glazed). Occasional thumping noises from a nearby door slammer but otherwise quiet. Comfortable bed. Good air con - it was 34C outside but very cool in room. Obviously there are different room layouts - ours had a separate bathroom & shower. No issues with lighting, in...

Let me start with the good things - great breakfast buffet - friendly Front Desk - clean room - good bed HOWEVER---- Toilet is in a separate room with NO separate light. If you want to use the toilet during the nite, you turn on the switch which lights the toilet room AND the bedroom. Which, of course, wakes up...

This hotel was one of the best we ever visited on a city-trip. The hotel is centraly located and the rooms are great! In the morning you can enjoy a really great breakfast buffet with plenty of choice. We did everything from the closely locateded metro station, just around the corner.

The Leonardo is on a quiet tree-lined street. Around the corner is conveniently located a grocery store and the u-bahn station -- making it a great location for budget travel. The staff was very helpful. Some amenities that come standard in hotels in the states (such as an in-room fridge, or an in-room iron) were not standard. You could go...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
