The location is perfect, we spent two days just circling the hotel. The design is unique and edgy , definitely a treat for design freaks. The top floor lounge was a nice touch, and breakfast was over the top. Last but not least, that staff was so helpful and friendly, made us feel like friends.

First visit to Berlin, went with friends and booked this on the basis of the reviews here and wasn't disappointed. Really cool hotel in a great area, easy check in an all of the staff are amazing. Really cool room, we were on the 6th floor with great views (even from the shower). The 7th floor is a revelation -... More

A fantastic boutique hotel with stylish rooms and a unique feel. Staff were very helpful and friendly- the "roof top" lounge/dining area excellent and the all hours access is useful. The location is excellent with very good local places to eat, drink and shop. We will be back!

What a great hotel, wonderful staff on reception and up on the 7th floor. Comfortable big bed, spacious room and an absolutely fantastic shower, loved the slippers. This was such a great hotel, I wish we had been able to stay longer than our 4 fantastic nights here. Breakfast was delicious, free snacks available all day/any time. Lovely, well appointed room (fantastic shower pressure!) Staff were friendly and helpful and the location is in such a super area. We can't wait to go back!

Casa camper takes care of every single detail; comfort, design, clean. It is just one of the best hotels I have ever been. Moreover, you have free food and drinks 24/7, included in the price. The location is only 5 min walking from Alexandar Platz. If you go to Berlin, this is a perfect choice.

First of all, the location is excellent, as it is right next to the trendy Rozenthaler Platz, filled with cool restaurants and bars, and the train station. I checked in quite late, and met a very friendly and informative receptionist, Antonio, who helped me check in smoothly and gave me some god tips about the area. My room was large,... More

Great base to explore Berlin from. Our room was clean and nicely furnished. The breakfast room on the top floor has a great view over Berlin's roof tops and it's nice to be able to go up and have drinks while the sun is setting.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
