Location is very good, cvery close to U2 Station and Potsdamer Plaz Station, many shops and returants close to the hotel, clean rooms, good breakfast, what more could you ssk? we very much enjoyed our stay.
All was very good. The rolls for breakfast were hard and dry, possibly baked incorrectly. Something like that can happen. Hotel location very quiet. Hotel itself very quiet. Pure relaxation. Taxis are almost always available directly in front of the hotel.
I have booked the Scandic Potsdamer Platz for a business trip with a group of 6 rooms and it was a disappointing experience. The hotel looks like an international hotel of our present time but it offers less than expected. Choosing a MotelOne would have be the better option. Check in was slow, breakfast was ok. Very annoying was the lack of AC in the hotel rooms that made us sleepless for several days due to the heat. Its no fun when you are sleepy and exhausted all day long at a business trip ! When we asked about the AC, the front desk person told us, they dont have an usual AC that can be controlled by the guest hiself – they have a super innovative climate control system that is using a green concept with best sustainablity to cool down the rooms. Well, this great germany-made green AC concept didn't worked out cooling any of our group rooms ! To my opineon, a hotel shall keep the decision about room temperatur with the guest, not tell the guest about the hotels own great ideas about not working green concepts. Will never come back to this place, there are many better options.…
The hotel is close to the subway, bus and train station. The elevator had a nature picture at the top and the played bird sounds which is such a nice touch. Our room (Superior room) was nice, we had a street view which was amazing to look at due to the big windows. The highlights were definitely the glasswindow in the bathroom with one of 'the 4 seasons' printed on it (we had autumn leaves) which was beautifully shining orange when you turned on the lights (such a vibe at night) & the curtain which had cut-out snowflakes (when you turn off the lights at night and close the curtain, you had a "starry" snowflake sky on the ceiling, really unique. We also could use the minibar for free (which was refilled every day if you request it) The breakfast had almost everything and the cocktails in the bar were so good, also I give it a 4 out of 5 cause they didn't tell us that your room only gets cleaned when you request it. We also had trouble with the bathroom-sliding door which didn't quite close but other than that i can only recommend this hotel. I suprised me in many ways. …
Central, clean, friendly and one of the best breakfast in town! The parking fee is too expensive. 22 EUR a day is too much for guests of the hotel. The atmosphere is nice and the staff very sympathic !
I had an amazing experience at Scandic, the idea of teenager room is excellent, the breakfast was amazing, even gluten free breakfast for people with celiac desease. Receptionist were kind and very efficient, with a great human touch. I tested the sauna as well
All on walking distance. Brandenburger Tor und Reichstag max 15min. KadeWe 20min. Alexanderplatz 35min. Museum insel 25 min. Breakfast very nice. Lots of choice. Alsof for vegan etc. Juniorsuite was comfy, also for 3.
We had a wonderful room in the 7th floor - very good value for the price! The location of the hotel is fantastic with walking distances to central tourist sightseeing stops or bus/metro. My kids were happy and the breakfast was good with a large selection of food.
Modern clean and well located hotel close to the train station. €50 from airport in taxi was reasonable. Great bar on rooftop that is worth a visit. Is a great hotel to easily explore Berlin and all the sight seeing spots, easy walk to Berlin wall, Brandenburg gate and other sights.
Great service. Perfect breakfast buffet. All you could dream about. Near to everything in Berlin. Ubahn, bus and train, Mall of Berlin and restaurants only few minutes away. We would like to comeback to this hotel. It is value for the money.
