Hotel is in an excellent location for the metro and had the basics you need for a short stay. The main bonus is it is cheap. It's great for one person but for two people its a bit of a squeeze. The design of the room is strange as the floating side tables are at head height so you have...

Good and cheap and clean. Very good location, close to importand city spots , metro, tram and bus. I would recomment it if you are in Berlin for a few only days and perfect for one person...I felt the room small for 2 people.

Booked for a weekend away for my sisters birthday. Hotel was everything we needed. Very clean and practical. Staff couldn't have been more helpful and the luggage storage was perfect. The tram/ train system was easy to use and an affordable way to get around the city.

I want expecting opulent luxury from easyhotel, but I was expecting a little more than I got! The double room was just about big enough for me in my own. The main issue was the lack of storage. 2 steel coat hangers screwed to the wall, and that's your lot. No shelves, no hanging space. I basically lived out of...

This hotel is in a good location and within walking distance of many sightseeing destinations. Alexanderplatz is a 20 minute walk away. I arrived early at 10am and asked for early check in which they could accommodate on this occasion. I think it was €7 to do this. Well worth it! The double room I was allocated was small but...

+ Hotel is in central location, reception staff were friendly - There were dirt on our bed linen and the fact that we need to pay to turn the tv on, to watch regular tv channels. But cant complain much as it is a budget hotel

I booked this hotel for me and my 6yr old son. Booked a twin room which was plenty big enough for us. Lovely shower which was always hot. The bathroom was a little compact but suitable for us. However if you are not comfortable with your travelling companion book separate rooms as the bathrooms are frosted glass not a separate...

Good location near Alexanderplatz, main square for shooping, food, and manu attractions. I stayed in a double room, it is very small with no place to store clothes and things, you have a few hangers and a space for luggage under the bed. But for the price you pay is more than good. The only thing I dont understand is...

Probably the most important review of my 5 days in Berlin. This hotel would be great if your are on an overnight business trip or stating 2 days. I like to be out of my room and explore the city that I am in. But this room was tiny and had no storage (we were top floor and the room...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
