Good place to stay, fairly central to everything and within walking distance to central Mitte! You do have to pay for everything in this place including the use of tv and wifi! I also don't understand why a double bed has been squeezed into a shoe box room because nothing else fits in the room except the bed. Bathroom has...

My girlfriend booked this hotel and when we arrived the staff was really friendly and helpfull. They spoke both perfect English and check in went smooth. The hotel room and hotel by it self is really simple: Basic stuff for a basic price. The room was small and very clean which was perfect for us. We stayed 3 nights and...

We stayed here for a weekend trip. Its a great no frills hotel. Tiny tiny rooms, but when you are in Berlin you dont want to be in your hotel room anyway. Its clean, central and staff were friendly. The only thing I had to get used to was the toilet/shower door thing. I wasnt comfortable with the idea that...

Perfect location. You can find tons of shops, bars and cafes nearby. Most sighseengs are within short walk. Tiny rooms. No place for luggage. Bed is very soft. No hairdryer and tea/coffee ammenities in room. It's more like a hostel with private rooms than a hotel. In spite of everything mentioned above i would highle recommend this hotel for a...

Stayed for 4 nights in April and really enjoyed it here. Things like wifi and the tv etc cost more but I prefer that if it keeps the cost of the room down. Rooms are pretty small with the bathroom only separated by frosted glass so best for singles or couples. Heaps of restaurants and cafes near the hotel as...

easyHotel Berlin is one of the best European hotel experiences I've had. The hotel is located in an area that is not too heavily touristed, yet close to the center of Berlin. There are many restaurants and a U bahn station within a minute's wall. The hotel itself is clean and modern, and best yet, it is exactly what is...

Hotel is located in former East Berlin, in very lively surroundings, with plenty of restaurants and coffee shops everywhere. The location is perfect, at walking distance from everything worth seeing. The underground station is only couple minutes walking distance from the hotel, although we never used it. The price is excellent, it would be hard to beat it. The rooms...

Perfect deal for a citytrip. Room is small but we only needed a bed and shower anyway. A small suitcase just fits under the bed. Perfect deal for a cityrip, central location, public transport nearby and enough choice for a good breakfast close by.

We stayed for two nights and then another night on the way home from Poland. Yes, the rooms are small, but the showers are great there is everything you need including shower gel/shampoo. For a city break where we were only using the room for sleeping in it was fabulous. Great location - 2 minutes from Rosenthal Pl u station...

We traveled there in September 2012 and were very surprised about how small the room was. Even if it is tiny it has everything you need for a relaxing city break: the bed was comfortable and the bathroom was very clean. Be careful with the shower though, don't let it run too much because you risk to have the weather...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
