After staying for 11 nights first in an Executive Suite (329) then in a corner Junior Suite (605), with a heavy heart as the Assistant Front Office Manager, Constantin von Rohr, was so wonderful in every way, I cannot recommend this hotel. With the exception...More

This hotel was everything we where looking for in our getaway to Berlin for our summer trip. Close to many travel routes to see all the sights. We got upgraded to a suite which was great with air con and nice big comfy beds. The...More

Dear James C
Thank you for giving us a perfect rating and for recommending our hotel to other travelers. I am delighted to hear that we met your expectations.
I am looking forward to having you again as a guest in our hotel.
Our room was a little small but the furnishings were cleverly done, so there was plenty of space.
It is very close to a u-bahn station, as well as to where several tours (walking and bus) begin. The zoo (and bus/s-bahn station) is also very...More

This is a 5 star Hotel and I’m sure many people would be very comfortable here. For us, it lacked the friendliness of other 5 star hotels we have stayed in. Very cold welcome, was an effort for the concierge to advise us on information...More

Thank you for being our guest and sharing your impressions with us.
We are disheartened to hear your stay with us did not meet your expectations; we apologise for any inconvenience caused.
Nevertheless, we hope you had a great time exploring Berlin.
Really nice hotel in a good location. Room was clean, modern, and very comfortable. However they didn't have tea/coffee making facilities in the room, and didn't have any free bottled water which was a bit disappointing for a 5* hotel. Also note that nakedness is...More

Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

Absolutely agree, it is expensive. Yet, in my opinion, one of the best breakfast buffets I've had anywhere so far. Last year I only stayed a couple of nights and thought it wasn't worthwhile to spend that amount just for myself. The buffet is best when it's shared! So I went to the KaDeWe, where in the upper floor you have several different options for breakfast, of superb quality and for a fraction of Bristol's buffet price. If that's too far, along the KuDamm you will find several bakeries nearby that will also do the job. Also, there's a Starbucks just in front of the hotel. Last but not least, the concierge has always the latest tips and info on anything, so you might also ask him. Cheers!
