Very apprehensive when made the booking for this hotel BUT presently surprised.
It's right next to the sofitel hotel (was debating booking the sofitel origenly but the difference came to almost 350$ )and looks a little shabby on the outside but once you enter the...More
This is the second time that we have stayed in this hotel and will definitely return on our next visit to Berlin. All of the staff are very helpful, friendly and courteous. It's ideally located, on a not too busy road, near to the centre...More
Very good hotel, clean, very near to the Ku'damm (Kaiser Wilhelm Memorial Church area), good WiFi, clean rooms, polite staff and good breakfast.
We have enjoyed our stay and when coming again to Berlin this will be our preferred hotel.
This hotel made our stay in Berlin. It is conveniently placed around loads of shops and food restaurants and is easy to get to via the underground public transportation. The staff were so helpful giving us maps and helping us understand the city. We were...More
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop
down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

We stayed in December and had a privilege room. I would definitely get this again. The room was a really good size and the bed was extremely comfortable. Our room was behind the lift but was so quiet. The big advantage was the access to the Privilege lounge. Free snacks all day (cheese, meats, rolls, cakes) and also soft drinks, wine and a few bottled beers. We would go out for an evening meal and skip pudding and come back to the lounge for the evening and have sweets and drink there! I would highly recommend the upgrade.
