I was nervous about traveling from the airport to the hotel. I used google maps, the train takes around 25 minutes. The trains where RB14 or RE7. Once of the train it's no more than a 3 minute walk. At first I couldn't see the hotel as it is down a side street. The side street is opposite a kebab... More

We stayed at Eurostars for 2 nights over the weekend. Nice hotel and close to famous sights. We had a room that smelled like cigarette smoke but you get used to it and didn't realise there were smoking and non- smoking rooms. Nice breakfast and comfortable beds. Great shower and very clean!

The staff was so rude we booked a smoking room but at the end of our trip they add us a fee of 100€ because they said that was not a smoking room. I will never come back in Eurostars Berlin, never! They also told me in reception that was not a 5 stars hotel, incredible crazyness!

Really good location as it is literally under one of the main train stations. We had a conference at Messes Sud and it was just a 15 minute train ride with no stops. The locations is great for sight seeing in East Germany, just 1 15 minute walk from both Brandenburg gate, checkpoint charlie etc. Its also on the main... More

5 star hotel found next to Friedrichstrasse station. The entrance is found down an alleyway but fairly easy to find. The room was lovely and clean. Berlin is a profound city for sight seeing and a hotel needs to be solid to counter the drama of Berlin and also well placed for all the sites. The Eurostars does the job well. Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
