The location of this hotel is fantastic - right behind Berlin Cathedral and adjacent to museum island. All the other major attractions are easily accessible by walking. Hotel rooms are very clean and comfortable. Concierge (Gunther?) was extremely helpful when asked to change our airport transfer at the last minute. Would recommend this hotel.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW
Reviewed 11 April 2017

Amazing hotel with welcoming, friendly staff who really do go out of their way to please you! The drinks and food are very expensive as can be expected at a Radisson. Half of the rooms face outside (not the fishtank balcony shown) but the outside view is nice. The hotel is situated really close to everything, about a 4min walk...

Perfectly situated in the heart of old Berlin, perhaps the best hotel breakfast you will ever have and an 8-story aquarium in the lobby make this a perfect place to stay in Berlin. The rooms are clean and comfortable and you should request one that overlooks the giant Aqua Dom, where you can watch fish large and small and the...

Central to lots of walking destinations and food options. Aquarium is fun to look at so request a room that has a view of it. Depending on where your room is, you may have to walk a long hall as lifts are only on one side of the building. We used the spa area (gym and massages) and it was...

Stayed here for a week with room looking onto the park across the road and the TV tower. Stayed room only, good sized comfy bed, decent bathroom and shower, cleaned every day. Close to all the tourist attractios, 15 minutes walk to brandenberg gate, reichstag and next to the Berlinerdom and museum island.

This is my third stay at the hotel, and one of the things I appreciate as a business traveler is consistency, and the Radisson Blu delivers on this. The front desk staff are always friendly, helpful and professional. My room is always clean and comfortable. Room service staff are very friendly and the meals were of a high standard. Breakfast...

The Radisson Blu is always a pleasant stay and usually a treat. The breakfast buffet was very special especially for a hotel. Their beds re my favorites, with dual duvet covers and firm separate mattresses. The lobby has the world's second largest fish tank and glass elevators so you can see all the fish. Always a pleasure.

Five of us stayed for a long weekend in July. The location of the hotel was perfect for us and in easy reach of train stations, bars and restaurants. Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
