A very luxury hotel, rooms are very big, with a fantastic kins size bed!. Our room had the view of the fantastic acquarium inside the hotel. Windows were so big, that it was a pleasure, during the night to have the blue light of the acquarium inside.

HOTEL’S FAVOURITE REVIEW

We went in the gap between Christmas and New year, and just post the terrorist attack in town, but , and whilst im sure there was , there wasnt any evidence of additional security or restrictions in or around the hotel. The hotel itself , is situated in an excellent position to explore the city , and very close to the...

Great hotel and reaches the expectation of what you pay for from start to finish was impressed by how helpful the staff were and made you feel welcome with no language barrier. The views are stunning and the rooms were very clean and fitted the purpose of our long weekend stay. We had the view onto the aquarium and was...

I liked staying here. The staff are very nice and friendly, it is in a good location and has nice rooms. The aquarium is a lovely feature. The concierge desk is really helpful. I would be happy to stay there again.

This is a fantastic hotel. The Aquadom atrium speaks for itself but in addition to this we found the staff incredibly helpful and attentive, the Atrium bar was very relaxing to spend the evening in and HEat restaurant is worth going to. We stayed in a standard room on the 4th floor overlooking the Aquadom. The room was comfy and...

Perfect central Hotel to see all the sights. Immediately impressed by the porter who took our luggage and explained all the essentials on the way to the room. Breakfast was amazing with every choice possible. But note to hotel please switch the heater on over the fried eggs there is nothing worse than a cold runny egg!! Rooms large enough...

Thank you so much Midlothian58 for your lovely review and ideas - will definitely look into the fish catalogue, this could be fun (for guests and staff alike!). We will also forward your compliment to our porter as well as switch on the heater above the eggs, this must have been missed but shouldn't have. We hope to welcome you...

We stayed in Radisson Blu for couple of nights on our holiday. Hotel is advertised as 5* hotel, but for me it was like a common 4* hotel, only real difference was the huge acquarium in the lobby. We stayed on standard rooms in lower floors, those were a bit dated and shower pressure was quite low. I'd say the...

Lovely hotel with an awesome (and massive) aquarium in the ground floor bar, which makes it a rather special place to drink and relax. The restaurant serves spectacular food. It's within walking distance of many attractions. A good choice.

We thought the aquarium would be cheesy, too, but it's actually awesome. Ask for an aquarium view and you won't regret it. The fish are oddly mesmerizing. We know, we know, we would have rolled our eyes, too, but it ended up being such a lovely thing to come home to or wake up to in the morning. The hotel...

Well looked after, courteous in everything that we asked for. Food excellent, both at breakfast time and in the evening. Close to city centre and all the sights. Bedrooms were comfortable. We enjoyed staying here and would go again.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
