Stayed for four nights during our trip to Berlin. We chose this location for its proximity to Museum Island. We took a Business Class room which gave us a stunning view of the Berliner Dom and the river Spree. This is an excellent location for many of the main sights of Berlin. The Aquarium that fills the lobby was a...

This hotel is in a prime location for the City sites and close to the U-Bahn. A modern and spacious building. The room was a good size with all you would expect as far as cupboard space shower etc. even had coffee making facilities. Totally spoiled by the truly dreadful customer service. At no time could a staff member be...

The location alone will save you a lot of time and money as you will find most tourist attractions within walking distance. Access to public transport and river cruises is also very good. The aquarium is amazing and I would recommend opting for a view of it rather than paying more for the view of the Dom. The room was...

We booked this hotel based on a number of reasons. One of which was the free Wifi. Well, upon checking in (and not before) we were told, at the front desk, that the wifi doesn't work well with Apple products: Iphones, Ipads, Macs, etc. That ended up to be the case. It's a business hotel, so it seems a decision...

I stayed here in February for a business trip and thought the hotel was great. The lobby is visually breath-taking and if you are lucky enough to have a view of the aquarium the rooms are amazing. Stayed here for 3 nights in May, booked through Expedia so got a really good deal. Have stayed at many Radisson's and this was an excellent hotel. We requested a room that faced the huge aquarium and this was arranged. The staff were very helpful and couldn't do enough, would use this hotel again if I went back to Berlin.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
