With an intimate atmosphere, charm and a mix of art, design and homely comfort, the Hotel Bleibtreu Berlin by Golden Tulip opened in the Bleibtreustraße near the Kurfürstendamm in 1995. Housed in a patrician house dating back to the 19th century, the hotel lies in one of the most beautiful side streets of the Kurfürstendamm. The whole atmosphere makes the guests eager to return to the Bleibtreu again and again. The hotel’s central location is impressive too. It’s less than half an hour from Tegel airport and the main station and close to the classy boutiques of international designers.
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.

Nearest Metro is approx 10 minute walk. The hotel is a 10 minute walk to main shopping street with designer stores and high street shops. Hotel rooms are small but perfectly acceptable, staff are excellent. Airport bus stops at top of street. Bike hire is available from hotel. Bathrooms have toiletries and plenty if hot water. I had a room with a small balcony which was fantastic. This hotel was fantastic for the price i paid. I would definately recommend while staying in Berlin.....good luck

The subway station Uhlandstrasse is 2 blocks down the road on Kurfürstendamm. Takes approximately 5 minutes to walk there. One of the pictures I attached to my review is from our visit last week. We loved this hotel, except for the fact that there’s no air conditioning, but that’s typical for german buildings.
