quite location at the end of a regular housing street near Tiergarden Station. Free parking. The reception is on first floor, 24h serviced - Rooms are clean and refurbished and room rates are moderate for Berlin. The hotel is fine for a short stay when visiting Berlin. No help to move luggage and stairs to be used to access rooms....

This is such a cozy hotel with very comfortable beds! Important. The staff was so helpful and friendly. This was our first impression of Berlin and they get 5 stars! We felt so comfortable there. Very helpful and homelike feeling. I loved the old building feel. Minutes from the center by train or sometimes we walked back through the park....

Took a punt on this hotel whilst attending a conference at the nearby Novotel. Turned out to be a fantastic 3 nights. A very unique place with plenty of interesting decoration. Lovely spacious, warm, quiet, and clean rooms. Welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable staff all of whom spoke perfect English. Finally a great breakfast in the morning. Cannot recommend this hotel...

We chose the hotel due to its location, charm and good reviews and we got all that. It is a Hotel Garni, so you know that this is not a pure hotel building. The people there gets 5**** and more , we felt treated really well with always a nice smile on their face. Our few extra wishes were swiftly fulfilled...

This is a hotel located in a building which looks like it used to be a house before, in a quiet residential area, but not far away from a university. Old wooden floors gave it the pintoresque touch. Service tried to be helpful despite their level of English. Room and bed were good, bathroom looked a bit too old but...

We wanted a hotel where we could leave our car while we went sightseeing. Reviews on TA were good. We weren't disappointed. The hotel is in a residential apartment block. Our room was small and reasonably well furnished (although bedside cupboards would have been useful). The bathroom was tiny, but designed so shower, sink and lavatory pan all fitted in...

There really aren't any words to accurately describe Hotel Hansablick. It's in a residential building close to the Tiergarten S-bahn (so very good train connections) and the Tiergarten (obviously). My single room looked like it was decorated for a teenage boy in the 70s (minus posters) and could probably do with a spot of maintenance, but it was clean, warm...

First impression a little disappointed, opened the front door and up the stairs, and suddenly we were in a different world. It was modern and bright with wonderful art everywhere and lovely friendly good-humoured staff. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable with a view of the river through the trees. Breakfasts were excellent and the hotel was a short...

We stayed in several different rooms here during our visits to Berlin and all were comfortable, though wifi seemed to be best in the rooms closest to the lobby. Plenty of free street parking out front and in the surrounding neighborhood. We enjoyed the location near the Tierpark and Tierpark S-bahn stop. Just a few blocks away is a KPM...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
