The hotel itself was quite good. Great location, clean rooms, good breakfast. However..........the reception staff is horrible and rude. Yesterday 18.04.17 there was a queue of customers waiting for customer service manager to complaint. Horrible reception staff.

The hotel is well designed and in a good location. On the other hand, there was no kettle or drinking water in the room, the hotel didn't fix a broken lamp in our room and the rooms were a bit dark. I was also disappointed that the spa is 12 euros per person even though it has only a sauna....

I stayed here recently with a group of mates visiting Berlin for a few days. The Hotel is located in a very pleasant area of Berlin which, like almost everywhere else is very well connected in terms of transportation. (It was only a ten minute walk to the nearest train station.) We found the hotel online where is was priced...

This is a lovely hotel with friendly staff. Our room was a good size but very dated looking not the same as the pictures with the nice leather headboards. When i have looked on the hotels website it looks as if i have been charged for superior double (which is what i ordered) but given standard or the room has...

We arrived late at night and found reception polite and efficient and were promptly registered. We stayed in a superior room it was very clean with a comfortable bed and shower. Buffet breakfast was more than adequate with a varied selection. The only downside was that the wifi reception in our room was poor. The hotel is located on a...

This hotel sits in a vibrant part of Berlin with plenty of entertainment and transport on the doorstep. The room was a bit stuffy and the open window on the main street lets in a lot of noise throughout the night. Overall it was a good visit though.

I was very disappointed with this hotel, it is NOTHING like it is shown on the internet! I paid more than 200 Euros per night and the value for money was not adequate at all, I'm very upset. My room was tiny and dark, with dark wood paneling on the walls, it looked like it hadn't been refurbished in years....

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
