I write this review at the desk of The Schuster Apartment, one of the 21 apartments of The Circus, 2 days before we go back home. Having been here for 3 weeks (my husband for even longer) - I feel confident in warmly and wholeheartedly recommending this apartment hotel to anyone preferring this type of accommodation to an hotel room....

We were moved to the apartment from the nearby hotel as a free upgrade. On arrival at 1030pm we were greeted by a friendly member of the team who showed us around. The apartment was well fit out, nice decor and it was very quiet. The bed was a little hard for our liking but overall would highly recommend. We...

We stayed here for a week during our visit to Berlin. The apartment was fantastic, the staff was so helpful, and they have beer yoga! The apartments are centrally located on a U-bahn and tram line and there's great shops and restaurants all around. Highly recommended!!

We wanted an apartment for a 5 day stay in Berlin, that would be great for taking in Berlin and serve as a base for the Marathon. Also we wanted something big enough as we were travelling with our parents and young son. The Circus Apartments certainly didn't disappoint, it was perfect! It had a very spacious open lounge/kitchen/dining area,...

We just stayed in one of the two bedroom, two bathroom apartments with another couple and couldn't be more pleased with the value for our money. The apartment is located a very short walk from Rosenthaler Platz and is situated in a part of east Berlin that is easy walking to many nice neighborhood cafes and restaurants. The apartment was...

We were more than please and surprised at the affordability overall with Berlin, especially this apartment complex. It was centrally located and had plenty of great restaurants to choose from that were only 5-10 min walk. To reach the underground subway was 5 min walk. Above ground S-Bahn train a 10 min walk. We stayed on the 5th floor, had...

Our family of four stayed in a 2-bedroom apartment. These are fairly new apartments, they look nice, and everything works well. The people at the front desk are all very friendly and efficient. The location is terrific: 5 minutes walk from two different subway (U-bhan) stations, a grocery store and lots of restaurants in easy walking distance. We stayed in...

Comfortable clean apartment with loads of amenities and very helpful staff at the apartment and the nearby Circus Hotel. Really enjoyed the neighbourhood shops and restaurants. There is a free laundry in the building which was much needed and appreciated. Would definitely come back.

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
