The regular communication from the concierge (in our case Maria) was a lovely touch, from the moment we booked the apartment. On arrival I was a bit disappointed that we were on the ground floor, as it meant we couldn't have fresh air at night. As we were staying in January this did not turn out to be an issue. The apartment was superb, spacious and with nice welcoming touches like local chocolate and coffee. It's also right next door to a cafe, which we didn't eat at but was nice for a morning coffee before our day's adventures. The kitchen was well equipped and we cooked breakfast each day. The apartments are a 5 min walk to the u-bahn station, but are also central enough that you can be at Alexander Platz in 15 mins. There are lots of cosy bars and restaurants in the streets around, which seem well used by locals in the area. Would also recommend a visit to the brewery beneath the Circus hostel in the next road.…
Amazing apartments, awesome location and a fantastic team. We stayed here for 7 nights and it was unforgettable. The team was just incredibly helpful and had great recommendations. Thank you again Anna, Alina, Andres and the team. We look forward to coming back soon! 🙏🏽
I just came back from a 4 day holiday in Berlin with my family of 4 with two children (11 and 8). We stayed in a two bedroom apartment in the Circus Apartment. We had a very warm welcome from the staff in the concierge. She recommended us a nearby street for dinner and typed it into the map app on my phone. The apartment was very spacious. There was a lot of room and storage for us to store all our belongings. There was a safe in the wardrobe in the children's bedroom. There were two bathrooms, one with a bath and the other a shower. The location was very central and close to U Rosenthaler Platz with U-Bahn and trams. The hotel welcome pack we got via email told us to get the airport express to Alexanderplatz and change from there. However, there wasn't any train direct from BER T1 to Alexanderplatz! We can't speak German so it was an interesting experience trying to figure out which train to take. (If we know a bit of German, we'd know what Berlin Hauptbahnhof means). I'd recommend anyone visiting download the BVG info app. It plan routes to go between any two stations in Berlin. We downloaded it immediately after we arrived in the apartment. It would have saved us a lot of hassle if we had the app at the airport. We were there during a cold snap with daytime temperature of about -5C. There was sufficient underfloor heating in the apartment and we didn't feel cold at all. There was a lovely cafe on the ground floor of the apartment building. There was also a EDEKA supermarket nearby. It has fresh bakery in the morning. We bought bread, cereal, yoghurt and milk for breakfast, and stuff to make simple pasta for dinner there.…
This apartment was beyond our expectations in the spaciousness and amenities. Anything you need is in this apartment. Excellent place to stay for a family or a large group traveling together. The staff was so much help letting us know our options for travel to the apartment from the airport and arranging a taxi for us upon our departure. The taxi was there as we had asked. The staff we interacted with were so welcoming to us, they are all great!!! I would definitely stay here if I come back to Berlin!
We stayed here for 3 weeks in July, it was our second visit. We've stayed in both a back apartment, and one at the front overlooking the street. I preferred the front apartment even though very occasionally you heard street noise, or a buzz from the cafe below. The windows are double glazed so unless it's really hot, this wouldn't be an issue. It was slightly smaller than the back one, but more gemutlich (look it up!). The apartments are really nicely decorated, with quirky artwork and good use of colour. They're very spacious, with balconies and are well laid out. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom cosy. The apartments are very clean and the cleaner did a fantastic job. The location is perfect, in a quiet street but only a short walk to transport (train and tram) and loads of amenity, cafes, bars and restaurants. And it's close to the Volkspark. I celebrated my birthday in Berlin and the Circus folk gave me a lovely surprise with a bottle of bubbles and some beautiful flowers! The people who run the apartment are great, really helpful and friendly. They made our visit even more enjoyable. Thank you Ilaria, Richard and Natascha. We hope to return next year.…
This apartment is terrific from so many points of view: the building is wonderfully situated; it is spacious, modern, light and bright and immaculately clean; and the staff is incredibly obliging and charming. Richard and Ilaria, in particular, were spectacularly helpful during our stay. Nothing was too much trouble and they were eternally sparkly and sunny. It was a supremely great week in Berlin, aided in large part by the wonderful hospitality and service received at Circus Apartments.
I have been staying in dozens of different hotels, apartment hotels, Airbnb in Berlin for years. What makes The Circus Apartment Hotel different than all the other brands is the quality in detail. It was my first stay at Circus, probably I will never search for another place to stay on my next visit to Berlin. I admired the hospitality at Circus Apartment. Greeted at reception like an old friend. All the organizations give you precisely this feeling. You are at home! This is the perfect space for anyone who wants to have a taste of what it would be like to live in Berlin. The apartment is very tastefully decorated and clean.
Circus Hotel is undergoing renovations so the extremely helpful reservation team suggested we stayed in one of their apartments. Spacious, comfortable, very well equipped, super helpful staff, underground parking available on site, laundry room for guests; all in excellent location. Absolutely great.
I cannot fault the circus apartments. We were given a lovely welcome on arrival and were delighted to be given an upgrade. The penthouse apartment is stunning with an amazing roof terrace with great views over Berlin! The location of the apartments is fantastic in a really nice part of Berlin with a local vibe but so easy to get around with great tram and u Bahn links. During our stay both of our kids were unwell and the staff were so helpful finding an available English speaking dr for us and providing additional towels and bedding as needed. Couldn’t recommend this place highly enough!
We spent 5 nights inThe Circus Apartments. We had booked a Duo Economy room, but that had been re-allocated, so we were upgraded to the Schroeder Duo apartment on the 1st floor (at no extra cost). This is the second time we have stayed in Circus Apartments and both times have been excellent. The apartment was spacious and nicely decorated, with a very good supply of kitchen utensils and crockery. There is a full-size cooker and oven, microwave and fridge. A free laundry is located in the building basement. The bed was very comfortable and the apartment is quiet. This apartment also has a balcony with chairs and table. The only minor drawbacks were that the shower rose could not be adjusted sufficiently to avoid splashing a considerable amount of water on the bathroom floor, and the lighting in the living area is quite dim. All staff we encountered were cheery and very helpful. The apartment location is good, being not too far from public transport stops, supermarket and other shops, and the local area is pleasant and interesting for a walk around. It is also easy to work out suitable routes to go for a run. We highly recommend Circus Apartments.…
