We stayed here just after Christmas 2016 and were pleased with our stay. Our room was spacious and clean and the bed very comfortable. The reception staff on check in were really friendly and spoke incredible English which was so helpful to us. There is an underground station right next to the hotel which makes getting around no hassle at...

The rooms are not as modern as the foyer would lead you to expect. Definitely an ideal hotel if you are planning on spending all of your time exploring the city but for those who like to spend a bit more time relaxing, this proved difficult. The bistro offers about three different dishes; pizza, soup or chilli, which again meant...

Convenient for U-bahn to everywhere. Comfortable clean hotel, great room, excellent room service. Breakfast is worth paying the extra for, very generous buffet with loads of choices. There's a bar offering bar snacks - no evening meal. Room had a fridge with a small bottle of water which, if you use it, costs Eur 3.40 - seems a bit mean....

Good location in a quiet part of the city. Excellent access to public transport network. Staff were all very friendly and efficient. Rooms facing the street can be a little noisy due to passing trains.

Comfortable hotel - nice room with comfy bed and large windows so plenty of light. Tasty and generous breakfast. Really friendly staff. Located very close to the metro station which is good for getting around. Also convenient for walking to the gay district around nollendorf platz. Next to a nice park in a peaceful, residential area. Would stay again.

A great service and a great support. A fantastic breakfast and a Wealth and warm room!!!! We had stay for 5 days and was great. In the first day, we get lost in the metro stations in the night, but when we finally discover the hotel location, we consider it super easy. You need to catch the uban line 2,...

If you are not intending to be hanging around the hotel all day, then this hotel is perfect for exploring Berlin. It's a pretty basic hotel, but in a very good location with train, tram and bus stops right outside. Very easy to get anywhere, including to/from airport using public transport. Plus you can hire a bicycle from the hotel...

Dear Matthew, thank you very much for your time to give us your feedback. We very much appreciate your comments about the friendliness of our staff and our location. You're right, our hotel is located off the beaten track in a small, quiet street in the city center and the U-Bahn station Gleisdreieck is nearby and you can reach all...

The hotel is well located, very close (ca. 100m) to the u-bahn station Gleisdreieck and only two metro stops from Potzdamer Platz. Due to the u-bahn you can access every point of downtown quite easy. The staff is excellent, they help you immediately. (I needed envelope and stamps and they had both at the reception). There is only one drawback...

The room is medium size, but very cozy. Everybody in the staff was adorable and the area is quite central, with a metro serving the guests about 2 min walking. It's definitely a nice and best value hotel in Berlin's central area. Potsdam Platz stays 2 stations away. I do recommend!

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
