This Hotel is in the Perfect location, it's close to the Ubahn and walking distance to Potsdamer platz. Lot's to do in the Area. Great quite area for young couples, with kids or the Solo Traveler like myself.

Room itself is nice, spacious with high ceilings. However the fact it has no tea/coffee facilities in the room or a mini bar fridge. All you get is a lukewarm bottle of water which is surcharged if you open it. WiFi is terribly irritating to operate, on my final day I wasn't able to connect to the wifi at all,...

We stayed in a family room for 4 persons, which was clean, felt spacious and had all necessities like bathroom, beds with linen and wifi. We were well received when we came, and our car was parked in a private area outside of the hotel for a small fee.

It is a new hotel, staff very professional. My single room was very clean though a bit too small for the price I paid. Good internet and awesome shower. But! I could not sleep because of the hard pillow and mattress. I did my basic training many years ago and I could sleep on any hard platform, but please I'm...

Staff friendly, ample facilities, lovely little breakfast. Always clean and tidy. Perfect for a city break, would use again and highly recommend. Within walking distance of Postdam Platz, Checkpoint Charlie, the holocaust memorial etc. But great transport links nearby for any further places. Also near a splendid jazz bar, Yorckschlösschen. Great location.

I felt at home the moment I stepped in. The receptionist warmly welcomed my friend and I and quickly told us what we needed to know about the hotel and getting around the area, like the nearest eating places and the price range. Rooms are of high ceiling and with wide windows. Though the carpet could do with some cleaning,...

The location is fairly good with 3 different metro stops within 5-15 minutes away that run to all different parts of the city. There's also a great discount market, a Lidl and several restaurants open later in the day (and for coffee in the morning) on the street to the Anhalter Bahnhof metro stop. I was surprised how loudly I...

Nice enough hotel but travelled from the UK and greeted by no Tea or Coffee making facilities in the room. A warm bottle of water at 3.50Euro was available but declined. A cheap enough hotel for a short stay but 8.50Euro for a cold breakfast wasn't fun either, not a German sausage in sight, just plates of cold meats, cheese,...

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.

The Rewari Hotel Berlin, formerly Hotel Am Anhalter Bahnhof, is a B&B hotel and is centrally located at the Potsdamer Place in Berlin. Since more than 30 years the hotel is managed by the owner Suman Rewari. Thus the hotel has been given its new name. The hotel building originally built in 1868 has been modernized while retaining the old floor plan and the typical room heights. It combines the unique charm of the old building with modern comforts. The 45 rooms are spread over four floors, which are accessible both, by lift and with staircase. A rich breakfast buffet is served from 7.00 to 10.30 Am. The Hotel Rewari Berlin provides FREE WI-FI, and for those coming by car have the option to use the own parking.
