The first thing I want to mention about this hotel is its location, which was by far the biggest problem for me and is the reason I'm only giving it 3*. On a map, it doesn't look too far from the Brandenburg Gate and the majority of the touristy stuff, but it's actually a good thirty minute walk each way.... More

We stayed here only one night and found the hotel nice and staff to be very hepful. They provided a cot and kettle at no extra cost. The room was big enough for 3 + a baby and parking was very easy and fairly priced at €6.00. Did not have breakfast here as there was places locally to explore and... More

We traveled with friend for concert and tried to find something not much expensive to stay. This hotel was great choice, because its near Tempodrom (there was the concert) and its close to the centre (few minutes walk to Brandenburg Gate). Accommodation is really easy and we had not shower on the room, but it was enough for us for... More

Unwelcoming arrival - a closed door and I had to phone to discover how to get in. Room the size of a broom cupboard and unsympathetic to a request for a change. No hot water one morning - no explanation or apology. Drinks dispenser in lobby did not work. Although there is a bus stop outside, quite a walk to... More

The hotel was a very pleasant surprise. I booked it as it was very near to the Tempodrom where I was going to a concert. I wanted to be within a short walk from the venue as I was on my own and it was ideally located. The room and bathroom were spotless and at that price, it was extremely... More

We went 4 people and shared a room. The room was big, the cleaning was OK and the beds comfortable. We did not try the breakfast but had breakfast in nearby cafés instead. Did not speak much to the reception people but the few times we did we got a good service. The wifi was sometimes working fine and othertimes... More

The room is quite good (despite of, at least in my room, there was no minibar), the hotel is well placed, and the breakfast is simple but OK. The biggest problem of this hotel is the awful WIFI system. My overall opinion is the price is fair, and the hotel is OK.

If you're traveling on a budget but don't like hostels, this hotel is a great alternative. Nothing fancy but it serves all basic needs. The room we got was adequately spacious and comfortable with a clean bathroom. A big plus is the location, not far away from Checkpoint Charlie and Potzdammer Plate. Their's a bus stop in front of the... More

Stayed here for a short break recently to visit the Postal Museum. The hotel is well located for the Potsdam area. The room was a twin but for sole occupancy so plenty of room for me, it was clean and there was a WC and shower. I had breakfast at the hotel which was very good. The staff were very... More

Quite a small and clean hotel with a nice breakfast room. A bus stop in front of the building makes it easy to get to the Potsdamer Platz etc. Rather quiet area. Rooms were bigger that average (double room for single use). Friendly staff. I enjoyed the two nights I spent there.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.

The Rewari Hotel Berlin, formerly Hotel Am Anhalter Bahnhof, is a B&B hotel and is centrally located at the Potsdamer Place in Berlin. Since more than 30 years the hotel is managed by the owner Suman Rewari. Thus the hotel has been given its new name. The hotel building originally built in 1868 has been modernized while retaining the old floor plan and the typical room heights. It combines the unique charm of the old building with modern comforts. The 45 rooms are spread over four floors, which are accessible both, by lift and with staircase. A rich breakfast buffet is served from 7.00 to 10.30 Am. The Hotel Rewari Berlin provides FREE WI-FI, and for those coming by car have the option to use the own parking.
