Stayed at the Arcotel on Thu, Fri night. Couldn't book on Expedia for Sat night because it was booked out. Instead I booked at another "design" hotel in West Berlin. I did however book Sun night at the Arcotel again before departing on Monday.
The velvet is an excelent choice if you want to stay in the middel of the trendiest area of Berlin.
The rooms are modern, confortable and full of details (i.e. a DVD player in your room)
