Hotel is located just off Kurfürstenstrasse, close to Kurfürstendamm (which is of course no longer the place to be in Berlin). Rooms are small unless they upgrade you to a (slightly bigger) corner room. Very helpful reception staff and very good value for money. Nice buffet breakfast. In short nothing special about this place, nothing wrong with it either.

A very good 4* Hotel. A quiet off the main road location which is near to a number of ammenites, bars, eating places and so on. The whole of the hotel is very clean and in good order. The staff were always extremely friendly and helpful. The restaurant was very good with an excellant breakfast buffet. The hotel is near...

A really comfortable place. The staff was pretty kind and the room was clean and good. It's close to a bunch of other hotel chains so the zone is very paceful and quiet. I'd like to add to the other reviews that if you go there, or nearby to the zone you can save money and get a truly great...

This is the second time I have stayed at this hotel in two years and the experience has been consistently great. The hotel is clean and well presented with friendly staff and nice although slightly compact but well equipped rooms. Breakfast is a great buffet with plenty of selection to suit every taste. Plenty of restaurants nearby although give the...

My travel agent recommended this hotel for my six nights in Berlin, and a great choice. Really felt comfortable here, with friendly staff, a more than you could eat breakfast, and a relaxing room after the various day trips in and out of the city. Right on the key tourist 100 bus route, a supermarket next door, close to the...

We really enjoyed our stay here. We got a great rate online for a standard room. We arrived at the hotel before 2 o'clock and were still allowed to check in early. The room was nicely laid out and had a nice bathroom. We went out for dinner and left the air con on as it was a warm night....

We were recommended this hotel by a friend who'd stayed recently and were not disappointed. Yes the room wasn't huge but perfectly adequate and(apart from a marked carpet) spotless. Cleaned and linens changed daily and usually while we were at breakfast , which had wide choice.Staff were very helpful and pleasant. It is a very good quiet location (much quieter...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
