Nice hostel. Bedding and towels are included in the price. Comfortable mattresses. A lot of convenient things for travelers like free maps, checked luggage and lockers and bikes available for rent. Also a hairdryer in bathroom. Well located for Schonefeld airport. The kitchen area was well-equipped and with a good selection of tea and coffee.

This is by far my favorite hostel in all of Europe so far(at least big cities). The rooms are very fairly priced, they are large, and there's even a heater/AC unit. Rooms have their own bathroom including clean linens and towels. There is also separate sink/bathroom units in the hall for those in rooms wit more bunks. Bunks are also...

The location was really nice. A big departmental store right across the road. Lots and lots of eating options everywhere around. Check in was really quick. Everything was explained in a very simple manner. Rooms were clean as were the bathrooms. There was an elevator which took one to whichever floor they needed to. Big common area and had all...

It was a very beautiful hostel, the ambiance is very nice. I think the 4,50€ for breakfast is worth it. Many choices. It is new and modern. However, the floor's in the room was dirty and I don't like so much the neighbors. Reception was very kind and helpful for our questions about the city. I'd like to have big...

I've visited many hostels in my life, but most of them have surprised me in negative way. But not Cat's pajamas. They are really great (the rooms, location, stuff, kitchen, common room, grafitti's) - everything was amazing!

Unfortunately, we were there only one night, but accomodation was very good. Nearby to U-Bahn and bus. Creative lobby, nice 'drawings on the walls. Place mainly for young people, ideal for group of friends who want to visit Berlin. I was there with my fiancee and our double room was comfortable, clean and what is important there was air conditioning.

The room was clean, linen and towels provided. Friendly, helpful staff and a bathroom within the room! Ticked all the boxes. The location is super close to the train and the bus, there's also a great rooftop bar down the road with a lovely view of the city :)

A friend and I stayed here for four nights a few weeks ago! We both had a great stay and will definitely recommend/stay again. The location was great, super close to an Underground and had some great and cheap places for food around the area. Beds were super comfy and powerpoints at every bunk. Bathrooms were clean, only problem was...

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Kreuzberg
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.
