These apartments are incredibly comfortable, clean and located not too far from the city centre. There is a metro line two minutes walk from the apartment which can take you anywhere you want to go in the city. The staff were incredibly helpful and eager to make our stay the best it possibly could be. Would recommend this place for... More

We stayed at a unit on Schoenhauser Allee. First we had to check in at their office and then were given a key for this unit which is about a block and half away. At first, it is deceiving as you have to enter through this big door were shops and a Mediterranean restaurant is situated. Once you enter, you... More

We stayed at the eight man apartment for 3 nights at the end of June. The accommodation was excellent, very clean large enough for 8 adults to enjoy and not be on top of each other. The apartment is in a good location. As other reviews have stated you pick your keys from a different location so be mindful of... More

When I booked this accommodation back at the end of 2015 I wondered what the catch would be. It was surely too cheap to be good. But no... I booked two apartments, for 12 people in total. They were a floor apart. Each apartment had 5 single beds and two single sofa beds. They are ridiculously spacious with two bedrooms;... More

We travel to Berlin to see Adele at the Mercedes Benz arena, on the 8th of May. Since we were a party of 4, accommodation was a challenge. It is difficult to fine a hotel room, which is comfortable for 4, at a reasonable price, so for the first time, we choose an apartment. We found an apartment in Booking.com,... More

After coming to Berlin in 2015 for Berlin carnival I was unimpressed by my stay at the NH Postdamer Platz, not only were the staff rude and unclear but the hotel tried to con us into paying a fine because they thought we were ignorant tourist, fast forward a year and my stay at OTA couldn't have been any better.... Stayed in a large family apartment with 2 friends so we all could have a bedroom each. The apartment is light (more on this later) and spacious and fairly well equipped. The apartments were easy to find from the office and we took a taxi from the airport to the office. Looking back we should have just used public transport... More

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.
