we were amazed to find out that this Hostel is absolutely perfect, for such a bargain price we had the cleanest room, everything looks new plus breakfast was better than in almost all 3* Hotels, breakfast was actually amazing! Hotel employees were super polite and helpful! I would give a 10 stars if I could.

Nice hotel, perfect location, just around 5 minutes walking to the underground station! We had 2 rooms booked as we were traveling as a family. The rooms are really big, the bathroom is huge. Good breakfast in the morning served as a buffet. I recommend this hotel. If I will be back in Berlin I would stay there again! Thank...

First of all when we booked this hotel we wanted to save as much money as possible . As a consequence we were psycologically ready to anything bad. Otherwise it was one of the best staying experience in my life. The receptionists were kind, useful and funny. Our room was cleaned, warm and welcoming. Finally the price in conparison with...

Looks like more of a dorm for students than a hotel but it is clean and room is big. Do not expect amenities but for a traveller, it is within the budget. Breakfast is good and the location is near the train station.

Great hotel, clean friendly welcome when we arrived😁. Easy to find and great links to airport and city. Breakfast buffet good choices and we are both vegetarians. Some reviews were not good. But having stayed there I can recommend. Although on a main road rooms were in a court yard and very quiet. Slept well.

We were expecting the worst based on other reviews of this hotel so were really surprised when our experience was the complete opposite! We had a room on the fourth (top) floor with en suite bathroom and little TV, wardrobe, table, etc. Furniture was basic but did what you wanted it to do, beds were comfortable and room/bathroom was really...

We have spent 2 nights here. very helpful staff. Good service. Rooms are like hostel. Not good furniture. Nothing like hotel. not well standard. but value for money and good place to stay. Walking distance to mall, restaurants, pubs & metro station. 15 mins drive from main central. Comfortable bed and big toilet.

My friend and I recently stayed in Hotel 103. Yes it's more of a hostel but our room was perfect for us. The decor may be simple but we had everything we needed. The room was warm, incredibly clean with an en-suite bathroom, clean towels and comfortable beds. The staff were very helpful and friendly especially the manager. With it...

Not happy about the stay at all. It says that it is a hotel but looks more like a hostel. First of all, coming to the hotel first thing you can smell is ... rubbish! You pass through the yard full of rubbish containers and it really stinks. The check in is very late and there are absolutely no exceptions....

Staying in Prenzlauer Berg

Neighbourhood Profile
Prenzlauer Berg
No Berlin neighbourhood has undergone a greater change than Prenzlauer Berg. The artists and non-conformists that defined the district’s intriguing subculture in the 1980s and 90s have been replaced by a young, hip crowd that frequents the many cafes. Where there were once run-down houses in the shadow of the Berlin Wall, there are now designer shops. Beautiful old homes have been modernized and renovated, and on Sundays, thousands turn the park next to remnants of the wall into a playground for street artists, musicians, and flea market shoppers. This attracts young urban families who enjoy the balance of big city life and small-town comfort. Meanwhile, trendy, young, upper-class visitors from all over the world are attracted to the local high-end shops, cafés, and sophisticated bars and restaurants. The merits of this transformation are a favorite topic of debate around the city, but it makes for some of the best people-watching Berlin has to offer.

“The rooms don't have any air con so since we stayed in the summer it was very hot and we had to have the windows open all the time. Our room overlooked the court yard so as a result sometimes cigarette smoke would waft up to our room. If this would be of a concern to you, I would request a room not looking over the main courtyard.”
