The hotel is located in central Berlin, in between two U Bahn stations, so it is very easy to get to and access public transport from. You can also easily walk to some of the key sites; it only took 10 minutes to walk across to the Gendarmenmarkt for example. The front of the hotel has character and the main...

Do you want to find a very 90' hotel? Do you like big stains on the carpeted floor? Or maybe do you like to see a place that attracts the very old (-economy) business men in escort company? Well go by the bar of this hotel, the defilé starting from 9 pm! Maybe also these "four-stars" falling accidentally from the...

The decoration/theme is quite odd, but it is done well. I really liked this hotel. The room was very spacious and clean, bright, comfortable. Internet is free. The fitness equipment is quite good. There is a sauna. I had room service and it was very expensive and quite tasteless. The staff very very helpful. The location is conveniently near the...

The rooms are clean, comforatble and stylish in a minimalist way although themed on 'Wall street, New York' with a dollar bill carpet in the room. The hotel is in a quiet location and in the room itself I couldn't hear any sound of traffic or even other guests. The breakfast served in the hotel is quite expensive but 5...

The "Wallstreet" is a play on words - the hotel being located on "Wallstrasse" - but the scheme is carried through in the design of the interior: "money coming from heaven" greets you in the reception area, ticker symbols as floor design and - at least in my room - a gigantic US Dollar bill as a carpet etc. Otherwise,...

Fantastic, The Art'otel by Park Plaza WallStreet is a relatively new, stylish and trendy place. The room was relatively large, bright and offers a nice view (like my room 523). The staff is very friendly and their kindness is natural. The wireless internet is free of charge and works very well. The Art'otel Wall-Street by Park Plaza is a great...

The location of the hotel is great if you are planning on using the subway to get around Berlin as it's right down the street from a stop. Just make sure you exit out of the right set of stairs.... For the hotel itself I was rather disappointed after reading some of the glowing reviews and seeing pictures. The rooms...

Stayed here for three nights, including New Year's Eve, in two Junior Suites. Staff friendly and efficient. I agree with previous reviewers that it is at first difficult to locate your room but the rooms were comfortable with good bathrooms and free wi fi. We ate at the hotel restaurant on one occasion and the food was well prepared. The...

We stayed in Park Plaza Wallstreet from Saturday to Monday, and were very pleased with the location and price. Walking distance to Alexander Platz. Nice Indian resturant across the corner and nice breakfast place by the river. Serviceminded staff.

During the december holidays of 2010, we went on a ten-day trip to Berlin and stayed at the Wallstreet Park Plaza. Overall, our long stay was extremely comfortable, we would definitely recommend it to our closest friends, with only a few minor points of critique. The check-in was quick and effortless. We had made an online booking for the executive...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
