Our stay of 8 days at the small Hommage à Magritte hotel (I believe 18 rooms), in a quiet residential neighborhood near Savigny Platz, just a bit west of Zoo Station, will certainly rank near the top of our most memorable hotel experiences. The hotel is decorated throughout with murals done in the style of the great Magritte, and executed...

The whole staff here do a brilliant job making your stay at Hommage a Magritte to be everything you need to have a comfortable and restful stay in Berlin while being quite affordable. We opted for one of the larger rooms and very much enjoyed our stay there. We had an atrium extension off the room that would be great...

We arrived to be met by the generous host, his son and Susanna a friend and were shown to a unique lovely big room, with plenty of light and all we required (yes the shower holder could be higher, as others have previously mentioned, but it didn't spoil our stay). Each morning we enjoyed an excellent buffet and the breakfast...

I choose this facility based on exceptional good rating here at Tripadvisor. As I already used similar category of the accommodation in Berlin with very good experience (see my review https://www.tripadvisor.com/ShowUserReviews-g187323-d2651645-r271259659-Goodman_s_Living-Berlin.html#CHECK_RATES_CONT) I expected something else. This apartment house is more expensive and offers less. I paid 119€ per night for a luxurious room and I got a very simple furnished...

My wife and I stayed here for a 2 nights weekend break to Berlin. This is a unique, quality, small hotel. Very modern, clean, with pleasant helpful staff. Breakfast is first class with everything you could want. Very convenient to explore Berlin. Lots of good restaurants close by too. Easy 20 mins. bus ride from the airport. Perfect. PS do...

This hotel is amazing for the price you pay. Impeccably clean and the hosts simply cannot do enough for you. Roman made recommendations of where to eat according to our taste and we weren't disappointed. The hotel is situated close to buses tubes and trains, making it a great place to stay when visiting Berlin. I wouldn't hesitate in recommending...

This bright, clean, Magritte-inspired hotel was a great place to stay for our city break in Berlin. Close to U-bahn, S-bahn & buses we found it very easy to get around the city from here. Our room was stylish and modern, with the high ceiling adding a sense of space. The bed was really comfortable. Tea & biscuits were available...

I could fill pages of hyperbole and superlatives on this lovely unique hotel, but I will cut through that and say this is the only place I will ever stay when visiting Berlin. My wife, adult daughter and I had a large room with a balcony and a Magritte inspired mural on the wall. The Magritte theme is carried throughout...

I had a lovely large room that was really light. The artwork on the walls and around the place created a great feel. The staff were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was very nice. My bed was comfortable. The bathroom was good but the shower was a bit hard to use without getting the bathroom wet. Free wifi was good but...

Staying in Charlottenburg

Neighbourhood Profile
Charlottenburg
Breathe in Berlin’s royal past while walking through the gardens of beautiful Charlottenburg Palace, which lends its name to this well-heeled neighbourhood. Here you'll find some of the oldest homes in the city: upper-class apartment buildings with ornate facades and marble-floored foyers line the cobblestone streets. Stroll by sophisticated restaurants, through little parks, or around Lake Lietzensee. Window shop down Kurfürstendamm, the most renowned high-end shopping street in Berlin, where you can find all the big designer names. In the evening, visit one of the old theatres close by Zoo Station which were nightlife hot spots in the 1920s, or dine in one of the many international restaurants around Savignyplatz before heading to other parts of town for a night out.
