Enjoyed my stay here, large spacious hostel. Clean rooms, shared bathrooms were also large and clean. Staff were helpful, some were short on patience with foreigners but overall they were OK. Kitchen was mostly clean and tidy. Dining table also in kitchen, nice way to meet others. Would recommend.

Stayed here for 2 nights and it was very pleasant! The communal areas were clean and tidy, the staff were very helpful and the room was nice. WiFi was good downstairs but was a little ropey upstairs! The best feature of this hostel was its very well equipped guest kitchen- which saved us a lot of money on food. There...

My girlfriend and I were thrilled to find a hostel with a pool table, cheap beer and a good selection of breakfast foods. The staff were friendly and helpful and the rooms were clean. No clear faults, hence the good rating. There was, however, a very strange German woman in our room (8 bed mixed) who apparently never left the...

Three little pigs hostel is beautiful and peaceful, and well located, near the Berlin wall. Receptionist People were excellent , always helping. They have breakfast which I think these days more and more hostels should have. We recommend it!

It wasn't very difficult to find and there is a lidl about a minute away. It's also very close to the bus stop. It is down a small street with a church though which did make things a little confusing. We stayed in a 8 bed mixed dorm which was clean and comfortable. There is one locker to each bed...

Beautiful, and pretty unique building, has all the amenities you would need, friendly and helpful staff, great location, nice mix of guests (i.e. some guests over 30 too), overall a good value place to spend a night or so.

Was there for three nights. Although the hostel was nicely laid out, helpful staff, tidy etc. The main customer s seemed to be large groups of German school trips. For hours they would be either sitting in the backyard were the single rooms windows could pick up the noise from 5pm until around 10pm, when then they would go off...

Very hospitable, clean, efficient, value for money is amazing. Thoroughly enjoyed my stay here and will definitely be back! The staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Being open 24 hours meant that all my queries or concerns could be answered around the clock.

the location is near a subway entrance, it has a lot of restaurants near the hostel, the beds are way too comfortable, the place is clean, as well as the showers and the toilets. Really liked it. There's free and fast wifi. When I travel back to Berlin, I will definitely stay there again.

Staying in Kreuzberg

Neighbourhood Profile
Berlin's revolutionary heart and immigrant roots can both be found in Kreuzberg, but this central neighbourhood is beginning a new chapter. In the 1950s and '60s, Turkish guest workers settled around Kottbusser Tor, while in the 1980s and '90s, rambunctious squatters and artists gathered to live a carefree life here. An old hospital even became a hotspot of riots between squatters and police. Today you can still find the best kebabs in town and many underground clubs, but a lot has changed as well. The hospital has been transformed into an art center, and increasingly you will find new urban cafés, restaurants and designer shops. Rising housing prices and gentrification threaten the spirit of this area along the Spree River, but the neighbourhood’s legacy is upheld by a very engaged community fighting to preserve its rebellious identity.

Surrounded by Berlin's most famous sights as the Brandenburger Tor, the Checkpoint Charlie and the magnificient boulevard "Unter den Linden", the Three Little Pigs Hostel Berlin also offers short walking distances to several places of cultural interest and museums. Berlin's young and multicultural district 'Kreuzberg' - in which the Youth Hostel is placed- is well known for its awesome concerts, night clubs and typical Berlin Life. A recommendable place to find out, why Berlin is so en vogue! At our youth hostel guests sleep in a former nunnery with a unique atmosphere.
