Walking distance to the central station. Friendly staff. Clean but not well equipped rooms. The breakfast has a good selection. There are a few good restaurants nearby. Good value even though it could be better!
My single room was 4.5 feet wide! Reasonably maintained, clean, private bathroom, 10 minute walk from train station. When you enter the building, you buzz for the Hotel, and then take the elevator up to the 2nd floor. Supposedly you get wifi in the room,...More
As far as hotels go, this isn't the worst accommodation I've ever stayed in by any means of the imagination. The rooms were clean, the bathroom facilities & shower were decent, the beds were comfy.

You may not realize Moabit is one of the city’s most central neighbourhoods when you arrive at Hauptbahnhof (central station). Surrounded by waterways, Moabit is a quiet island protected from the hustle and bustle of Berlin. The crowds that do gather prefer spending their evenings in cozy restaurants over the party venues offered by other districts. With its beautiful parks, old housing and romantic industrial areas, life
has traditionally been relaxed and a bit slower here. But the tone may soon be changing. Reasonable housing costs and proximity to city centre are attracting more young Berliners and international visitors. This interest is encouraging new bars, cafés and nightclubs, making Moabit a candidate for most up-and-coming neighbourhood in the city.
