We use this apartment as a base when visiting my son and his family. It suits my elderly parents as it is quiet, comfortable, clean and well equipped. It is in a great location and the staff are helpful and friendly. All in all perfect for our needs.

Maybe it's unfair to say that the best thing about this apartment hotel is its central location. But when you can walk in 15 minutes to Brandenburg Gate, the Jewish Memorial, Potzdamer Platz, Museum Island, Berlin Cathedral....then it's easy to forget what a comfortable room we had. Friendly welcome, beautifully clean room and well equipped kitchenette. Our only disappointment was...

All major sites within walking distance from this very comfortable and very quiet appartment building. Only Ku'damm requires public transport: U-Bahn around the corner! Better still: take bus 100 (or 200). Appartment (we booked the comfort version) was spotless. Airco can be heard (though no real problem). Forget about Sagrantino. Not worth the money. For restaurants: Charlottenstrasse & Gendarmenmarkt! Just...

We stayed for a weekend in April 2016. Upon arrival the staff were very helpful. The rooms are lovely. Very modern. They can be quite warm. I'm usually always cold and I had to keep the door open in the night. The kitchenette area is very small and basic. Microwave, toaster, kettle and nespresso machine. Also the plates were only...

Well maintained apparments, spacious and well equiped. Comfortable bed and balcony. A bit cheap with one bottle of shampoo for a longer stay tough. Staff at the reception is very friendly. And in Mitte so very central in Berlin.

Perfect location, well presented apartments and good value. Convenient for shops (Friedrichstrasse round the corner), music venues etc. Staff courteous. Our high floor studio was spacious, with large sofa and glassed in balcony overlooking street. Only microwave (no hob!), but for a 5 day stay we didn't find it a problem. No early alarm call available from reception - it...

We have only praise for this excellent apartment hotel, situated just between Unter der Linden and the Gendarmenmarkt - and near excellent transport connections, main tourist sites and theatres. We, with our teenage daughters, stayed in two studio apartments on the 3rd floor facing the courtyard, and were impressed by the comfort, cleanliness and quiet of both. The concierge service...

Staying in Mitte

Neighbourhood Profile
Mitte
The centre of Berlin, Mitte is most famous for sights like the Brandenburg Gate, Alexanderplatz, and Museum Island. The central location makes this one of the city's most expensive places to live. It is here the oldest traces of the city can be found, and evidence of some significant transformations, as well. The gangsters that once ruled the impoverished streets between Alexanderplatz and Hackescher Markt have given way to an international crowd pursuing fashionable designer clothes, the newest food trends and frequenting the many craft shops. Graphic designers have taken up residence in what used to be backyard barns and stables. There are still vestiges of the old days, however. The occasional housing complex is a reminder of the neighbourhood’s past. And if you look carefully, an old 1920s ball house nestled amongst the art galleries and exhibitions of Auguststrasse can still teach you how to dance the old fashioned way.
