Checkin = 45 minutes. staff very slow/incompetent/untrained. dial for operator- nobody answers. Rooms fairly small. Toilet area not nice. Shower was quite good This is a hotel that is “all style and no substance”. Definitely would not return. At least the location near train station is good

Terrible experience. I am appalled that hotels like this are allowed to operate nowadays. Not only they refused to provide us with the service that we paid for, they lied to us. We arrived in Berlin quite late, around 10PM, extremely tired just to find out that we do not have a place to stay. In other words, we were left out on the streets of Berlin at night. Even more disturbing is the fact that they confirmed our reservation when we called earlier that day. Furthermore, being promised an alternative arrangement to stay at a different hotel, we were even more disgusted with them when the receptionist at the other hotel said that nobody has arranged anything for us. We were just lucky that they had free rooms. And just to be consistent with their rudeness, they promised a refund for our reservation and now are refusing to give that to us. Only trouble, wasted time, nerves and money. Extremely rude and unprofessional.

When we checked in we were greeted by a friendly member of the staff who informed us that they didn’t have any king-size beds available, which we requested in our original booking request and that we could get one if we decide to upgrade. We decided to upgrade to treat ourselves - however, once we entered the room we figured very quickly that we got a disabled room + 2 beds pushed together instead of the requested King Size bed. It was pretty disappointing since that was the main reason for our upgrade. The next morning we got woken up around 6/7 am by staff entering and leaving the service room next door. They talked very loudly and slammed the doors pretty much every minute so my partner and I were wide awake from early morning onwards. We then went to reception to ask for a different room since neither of us got a good night sleep and we also didn’t actually get what was promised when we purchased the upgrade. They moved us to a much nicer room on the 6th floor and we were excited even though we had to go through the extra hustle of packing and unpacking again. We also had a reservation at the rooftop bar for the same night - however, we received a text message midday that our reservation was cancelled due to bad weather even though it was a sunny and beautiful day. We decided to go upstairs and check if the bar reopened since we really looked forward to it. We then found out that they never planned on closing the terrace due to bad weather so someone ice cold lied to us. This is not only incredibly disappointing but also absolutely unprofessional. We then left the hotel for dinner and when we returned to the room it was as if we live inside a club. Our room was vibrating and the music from the rooftop terrace was so loud that we actually couldn’t sleep at all. At 2 am my partner called reception to find out when the party finishes and was told that it would continue until 3 am. This is an absolute disgrace! There is no other way of describing it. At this point, we are seriously wondering if your facility is set up to be a club or a hotel. In which world does anyone think it Is appropriate to have loud music until 3 am in a hotel? This was our well deserved holiday and it’s hard to even put into words how utterly disappointing the stay was. We left the hotel completely exhausted and angry because both of us barely got any sleep due to all the noise and disturbances caused by the team. Since our stay, I have contacted the hotel twice to speak about our experience but unfortunately, we haven't heard back.

We stayed here because of the location and nice reviews. The front desk staff is cold and unhelpful. The internet is slow. The cleaners didn’t clean the room. Very disappointed. This place is barely functional.

We stayed here for one night. Th location is excellent if travelling by train. The hotel is very close to tram and suburb connections also. Getting around is not a problem. The area is a bit dull with a big construction sight next to it and more office/ administrative buildings around. The construction sight did not bother us with noise in any way. The customer care at the reception was excellent, probably the best we ever encountered. All our needs were met with a friendly smile. He should get a bonus. The room was small but sufficient. We had difficulties storing our luggage because of the size of the room. A bit more space would have been good to plan in by the architect. Overall a comfortable stay, would stay again.
