No AC! noisy rooms, great housekeeping. Less then 4 hours sleep last night. No ice! Windows open but pigeons and water slide make for the ugliest, noisiest experience ever. Housekeeping staff uses regular elevators very early in the morning.

Not a 4 star hotel! No air conditioning, we had around 26 degrees in our room, booked with a baby, impossible to get her to sleep in this heat. Rooms are old and worn out, wellness area is also 15 years due for maintenance. In...More

I can only agree with previous reviewers. This hotel is no longer 4 star. Breakfast is a battle field for the under-staffed, under-trained personnel. Personnel at reception is expected to be a lot friendlier. Our rooms were at the top floor, which in May already,...More

Great staff that was very helpful. When cecking in you get a hotel card that is valid as ticket for local transportation, for free! General feeling of the hotel is "old with fresh and updated interior". Rooms are classic hotel rooms with no frills but...More

Stranded by a missed rail connection, we spent a brief but comfortable night in the Europäische Hof, a handsome four-star property directly across the street from the train station. If the hotel star system referred to quality, rather than services and amenities offered, I would...More

It's about 2,5 kilometers. So I guess it depends. If you have luggage and such, I would suggest you hop on a bus or a U-train for the 20-minute ride. The hotel anyway gives you a free 3-day ticket for public transport within... More
