Good location, close to Train & Bus Station. Very helpful staff and good breakfast. Rooms rather small but very clean & tidy. Only downer is there are lots of migrants in the area and many down & outs, some sleeping on the pavement. This said it appears to be safe in the area.

Don't want to give a poor review... but: location: yikes in the middle of some makeshift refugee camp near the railway station. safety feeling: 0. seriously. I wouldn't have want to come there alone at night. the bathroom was nice. the room was bare, but it had all you needed. breakfast was OK, but nothing special. service was sketchy with...

It’s really easy to get from the airport to Hotel Polo am ZOB. Take S-Bahn S1 ten stops from the airport to Hauptbahnhof (Central Station) and walk to the right out of the station. Once outside go to the right towards U Süd Bahnhof and cross over Kirchen Allee to Steintorplatz, cross over Steindamm into Adenauerallee and you’re just a...

Stayed 3 nights. Triple room. Very quiet, cosy. Nice shower. Hotel is about 500 metres from railway station. Older style place which has been upgraded a few years ago. Breakfast is included in the price and has a lot of variety and includes fresh fruit. The hotel has a small doorway entrance and about 8 steep stairs to get into...

Location of the hotel is not that bad. Not pleasant staff in the reception. Room very dusty, cold, needs renovation, very high stairs to the reception and there is nobody to help with the luggage. Room very small, lower economy class I would say, Wifi working only near the reception. The greatest disadvantage is that I felt the metro vibration...

A good hotel, but the bar does not work in the evening, you can even drink tea or coffee or get hot water. The room is nice, spacious, but a bit cold., though we put the heat at max. The wifi does not work in the room, only near the entrance in the hall.

The Hotel Polo am ZOB is an economical place to stay, very close (5 mins walk) to Hamburg Hauptbahnhof (railway station), however while the room was adequate and clean, and the dining-room was fine for Breakfast it is not in the most salubrious part of town, especially at night. On the positive side there are lots of restaurants and bars...

A typical small German hotel. Basic but comfortable. Very handy for the main railway station and underground. Everyone (*) was very friendly. Wireless was pretty unreliable but this was a cheap hotel. With 2 adults + 3 kids, it's always hard to find a hotel to suit. We had to book two rooms to fit us all in. At time...

I was not able to get a hotel room at my preferred hotels in Hamburg and it was just for one night, so I booked this hotel via booking.com. Would I do it again? No. The hotel needs 360° renovation, the lights are much too low, you can not read a word. No boards or something like this in the...
