The Carlton is the perfect place for easy access and short walk to the Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof. Its also only a short 10 minute walk to the "Fressgasse" area where you will want to spend time enjoying the Frankfurt restaurant and shopping scene. The rooms are pretty small and nothing fancy and come with a typical European breakfast of fresh bread,...

I needed one more night in town before heading far north in Germany by train the next day. I had to leave my 5-star accommodations and this is where I stayed next. Of course this place could not compare to a 5-star, and it was hard to go from one to the next! The front desk is right inside the...

The way from main railway station to historical center of Frankfurt starts with local red light district. Carlton hotel is luckily located because being near railway station (3 minutes of walk) and on the way to the center, it is on a calm street. And, in addition, being near railway station means also being close to Exhibition fair and Festhalle...

Tired, smelly rooms, unfriendly front desk and owner of the hotel. The location is near the main train station but also in the red light district. Breakfast of poor quality, the cheapest products available.

Good choice to visit Frankfurt with reasonable price. Good position (near train station) and very close to Exhibition Fair. The rooms are ok and the services are ok. I tried this hotel last year and I think I will come back again soon!!!!

needed to stay for 2 nights in Frankfurt. found this option as very easy access to main train station. for good price 85EUR for 2 nights with breakfast. Well for such money should not expect much. would argue the 3 * rating/ due to general condition of the building. all is very basic nothing fancy.positive was: clean & fresh bed....

The best things about this property are the staff (very nice) and location within steps from the main train station and close to the Messe (fairgrounds). The building, room and furniture were pretty worn. Breakfast was just ok and the free wifi worked with no major problems (if maybe a bit slow and with some interruptions). If you are looking...

Firstly I was appalled at the price of hotels during the week in Frankfurt, at €298.00 plus parking this was the cheapest I found within walking distance of Festhalle. The staff were nice, the parking was secure and very good, the breakfast was adequate, the sheets and towels were clean (although the towels were a bit grey). The room was...

It is in close proximity to the main train station, it is not a hotel I would normally stay at. Hotel staff are very nice, friendly. Hotel is worn, small, breakfast is adequate. Lets be honest, this is a very cheap, basic hotel for sleeping only, Nothing is fancy here, just very basic accommodation. Hard to sleep if you have...
