I spend a night in this hostel. Overall clean and nice but the bathrooms need more attention. It is located in Kaiserstrauss which is 10 min on foot to Romerberg and 3 minutes to Haupbahnhof. The price is a little high for a hostel but they prepare a good breakfast in the mornings. Overall evaluation is average.

From the centre doors of 'Frankfurt am Main HBF' (Hauptbahnhof) station, walk straight forward down Kaiserstasse for 3 or 4 mins and look for the famous McDonalds 'M' symbol on your left - United Hostel is right next door. Every essential need is virtually in arms reach. Totally safe area all day/night despite the red light round the corner. The...

The night receptionist isn't friendly at all he yelled at some customers while i was doing my check in which is unacceptable in hosting ethics, the breakfast was limited to few things ( not diversified enough)

The typical back packer ... Mixed o separated rooms, lot of people from every corner of the world. What really struck me was security's level; a bodyguard at the entrance and many doors accessible just with a personal badge.

The Hostel is decent, but all I remember is, I went to sleep with my wallet in my pants pocket, wearing my pants. In the morning, my money (170 Euros) and credit cards were gone and the wallet was out of my pocket at the edge of the bed. Some creep in my room stole all of it. The hotel...

Me and my friends are just on an inter rail and this is the second hostel we've stayed in. But it just seemed so bad that I had to write something about it. Hostels are usually pretty cheap but the United hostel was a total rip off. I don't know about the refugees, we didn't see any or at least...

The Wifi is poor, the people at reception don't look happy. As mentioned in someone else's review, the hostel has a large number of refugees staying which means if you're travelling and want to meet people, this is not the place. I can't say how often the bathroom in the room was cleaned as the floor always seemed dirty. The...
