Stayed here for 2 nights and were very happy with our decision. Staff were friendly and helpful. Our room (a comfort double) was enormous, albeit it a little retro in design. Location was a big plus being an easy walk to the subway/tram and a big range of cafe's and restaurants. All main attractions are also in easy walking distance....

Owners worked with my late arrival (11pm) and were very polite when I met them the next day. Breakfast was good with lots of options, but a little expensive ( 13 euro). Room was clean with own bathroom and balcony for smoking if you wish. Great location for walking to attractions or taking bus/train. Only downside was the hard bed.

Things I loved: our huge Art Deco room (all furniture period pieces and simply charming... I felt like I should have been smoking cigarettes with curlers in my hair); the breakfast (nice fruit cup, museili bar and my husband was very excited about scrambled eggs... plus, the usual brotchen, cheese, lunch meat etc); the big parking lot (my husband was...

Excellent location. Beautiful building. Nice, spacious room. Comfortable bed. Enjoyed the built in bench in the shower. Got very warm at night even with the heat turned off. Worth the breakfast - wonderful spread and fresh fruit and eggs cooked to order. Friendly, helpful staff!

Hotel was in a good location. Our room was nice and quiet. The hotel had lovely architectural details. Parking was included and located on the hotel site. We walked two blocks to get to the south train station. Also only 2 blocks was a very good bakery for breakfast, if you don't want to have breakfast at the hotel (extra...

Stayed there for a few days, and really enjoyed to have selected this hotel. It's none of the usual standard hotels, rather very individual and unique. Rooms are spaceous, you can expect to get good value for money, and staff are friendly and helpful - maybe some room for improvement on efficiency and speed, but in the end no reason...

This hotel is in some ways like a museum. It is full of antiques has a wonderful old worldly feel. Not all rooms are en suite, but otherwise very comfortable. The breakfast room spills out onto a terrace and into a wonderful garden. An oasis in this residential area close to city and Sachsenhausen bar and restaurants cobble streets area....

I didn't make a reservation for this hotel. It was my husband's choice. He chose hotel am berg because of many good reviews. As we were walking up from S-Bahn station, I remembered myself thinking why we have to stay here? Hotel in the middle of nowhere. But after we checked in and I saw the room... Oh wow... It...

Wasn't sure when I booked this hotel. Actually thought it had a haunting quality. Upon arriving Imwas absolutely delighted with the friendly greeting and offers to help, with our stay. It's old but has charm. The room was quaint but clean and the bed was soooo comfortable! The breakfast was presented in such a beautiful way. The fresh fruit was delivered...

Well what a surprise this hotel was.....I booked it because I liked the Fawlty Toweresque exterior Located just a 10 minute walk from the lively Sachsenhausen bar and restaurant district Approx 20 by car from Frankfurt Airport, off street parking is available. Our room was enormous as was the bathroom, and a bargain at EUR 88.00 a night Fantastic breakfast...
